Trend: Liquid-Lined Eyes

One of the focal points in beauty trends this season is liquid-lined eyes.  This look can be taken in many different directions from classic-glam to punk-rocker chic, either way this sultry and smouldering look is worth a try.

Using liquid eye liner may seem daunting and a little intimidating at first, but here are a couple quick tips to remember:

*Try using a soft or neutral tone of shadow that is swept over your entire lid. Darker tones tend to make your eyes look too dark, or too overdone.

*Find a liquid liner with a point liner brush to keep lines straight and even.  Apply with eyes open and follow closely to your lashline. Draw on slowly and extend the line slightly beyond the outside of your eye using a slightly upward stroke.

*Don’t be afraid if you do make an error. Just have a makeup remover and Q-Tip handy to make a quick correction.

*Finish off the look with some mascara.
