That’s right, we’re jumping on the 25 Random Things bandwagon (albeit a bit late)!

1. Well.ca’s median age is 25.4.

2. We have a dungeon complete with a dragon and crystals. Seriously!

3. We love twitter (@welldotca).

4. We like to build things. We created our own chat system imWell, where our customers can chat with us from 9am to 6pm EST. Try it out and say hi, we’re friendly!

5. The shortest distance that we’ve sent a package was just around the corner. Actually, we hand delivered that one.

6. We recently had a company-wide air hockey tournament and it’s come down to Ali and Tony. We’re waiting for their final round with baited breaths.

7. We sell over 15,000 products from over 800 brands and we’re adding new products every day!

8. High fives are very popular at Well.ca.

9. We like to make silly videos of our office and post them on the internet.

10. We have a tradition of pancake and french toast breakfasts.

11. People are allowed and encouraged to wear funny slippers and unique socks in the office.

12. For Valentine’s Day we wanted to recreate the feeling we all had in grade one. So, Laura, our HR Manager came up with the idea of making hearts out of construction paper for each employee so everyone could write each other sweet, office-appropriate Valentine’s Day messages.

13. We’re growing really fast! This time last year we had 5 full time employees and 1 part time employee. We now have 10 full time employees and 7 part time employees…and counting.

14. We’ve teamed up with Guelph-Wellington’s Women in Crisis to donate wellness packages to Marianne’s Place, a women’s shelter. Our goal is to donate 100 packages and we hope you can help!

15. If you’re ever in Guelph on a Tuesday or Wednesday you’re likely to find us well represented at The Jimmy Jazz for their trivia nights.

17. Ali, our founder/CEO, created BrickBreaker, the addictive game that comes installed on all Blackberries. (We hear that President Barack Obama is a big fan!)

18. We have a gym at our disposal that we like to use for dogeball games. Clearly, we like anything that reminds us of elementary school!

19. We were named one of The Canadian Angel Capital Top 10 Companies and one of The Ontario Angel Capital Top Five Companies at The First Canadian Co-investment Summit.

20. Ali’s father has been running Norfolk Pharmacy and Surgical Supplies, which is located in downtown Guelph, for over 25 years.

24. Throughout the day you can find employees taking Wii breaks in the kitchen.

25. When Well.ca first started it was run out of a tiny room in the Norfolk Pharmacy and Surgical Supplies. There wasn’t enough room to store the boxes so they had to be stacked up against the doorway, meaning nobody could leave the room until Canada Post came to pick them up!
