DIY Green Spa

We all need to take time to relax and unwind, why not pamper yourself with an at-home spa treatment using all natural products? Good for you and good for the planet!
- Is there anything more relaxing than a luxurious soak in the tub? Try experimenting with foaming bubble baths, bath salts, and bath oils in different scents that can range from soothing lavender to invigorating peppermint. Look for sulfate-free products, which are gentler on your skin.
- Use an exfoliating body scrub to reveal new, glowing skin. For best results apply the body scrub to damp skin and rub vigorously in circular motions before rinsing off. As an added bonus this massaging action can help with circulation and keeping your skin toned.
- A day at the spa wouldn’t be complete without a facial treatment. Whether your skin is normal, oily, dry, combination, or in need of some firming, there’s a mask that can help treat and maintain your skin.
- To really set the mood for relaxation, light some scented candles and play your favourite soothing music. Look for candles made out of natural soy wax or bees wax and essential oils. Try to avoid candles that contain paraffin, which is not a renewable resource.
