‘Tis the Season to Moisturize
The harsh Canadian winter is officially here. Whether you’re a snow lover or a tropical bird, it’s hard to escape the cold winter breeze and the effect that it has on our skin. When our delicate skin is exposed to this cold weather, it can leave us feeling quite dry and uncomfortable.
Here are some tips on how to care for your skin in the upcoming winter months:
- Avoid taking hot showers or baths, or even licking your lips. This strips away our natural oils and makes it more difficult for our bodies to stay moisturized.
- Take care of your skin by using daily moisturizers. Ballbuster Hand Cream and Glysomed Foot Balm are always great choices to help those dry hands and cracked heels through the winter.
- Finally, always bundle up. As much fun as it is to have the wind in our faces and the snow in our hands, our skin may not always agree. If you love the outdoors, try Green Beaver Apres-Ski Winter Body Lotion for when you come back inside!
