As a pharmacist in Toronto in 1919, William Knapp Buckley discovered several natural ingredients used in the treatment of coughs and colds. W.K. recognized the ingredients' merits and combined them to create a unique remedy with two strong characteristics, lousy taste and tremendous efficacy, which he called Buckley's Mixture. Today Buckley's Mixture is still non-drowsy, alcohol-free and sugar-free.
