This is certainly not my favourite CoverGirl mascara. Very little product comes out on the brush and what does come out is dry, making it difficult to apply. Not sure if this is the normal consistency of this mascara or if the tube I received was old stock. I will definitely not repurchase this mascara.

Having worked in a professional cosmetic store for 16 years, I am surprised I always have to have this in stock... I say this because I was selling top of the line cosmetics, at more than 3 times the price of this one. What I found with this one is that it truly has a multi-layering technique so that you can use a little, or use a lot - and it never clumps. Furthermore, I find I can 'layer' my other mascaras at home with this one - what I do is use another one first, then use this one over top. I always go for the darkest black I can find. The OTHER good thing about this particular mascara is that it takes a long time to dry out in the tube from the first time you open it.... normally, you should use up a mascara within 3 mos. of opening it. This is because of bacteria you put back in once you have used the item and re-dip the wand. For this one, it has never dried out before I have replaced it with a new one.

A great daytime mascara. Gives a nice natural look and doesn't clump up or flake. Didn't bother my sensitive eyes a bit. I will keep buying it!
