Paige works in the marketing team and helps to grow the Well.ca brand. She enjoys scuba diving, drinking too much coffee and visiting other parts of the world. Whenever she travels, Paige can’t leave her house without Huggies Natural Care Baby Wipes Travel Pack (so useful when traveling even without a baby!), Gravol (always a good item in the purse) and Q-Tips (she’s just addicted to them).

Tony has worked at one of Canada’s largest technology companies, and he specializes in mobile, java, and web technologies. His hobbies include bringing joy to the world through music, and scoring golasos. Tony’s a big fan of the Obus Forme Sound Therapy Relaxation System and kerplunk Stainless Steel Water Bottles. He also couldn’t survive the allergy season without his favourite generic, Tanta Allergy Relief Extra Strength.

Jenessa makes sure everything in the office runs smoothly, and performs all of the HR functions at Well.ca. We suspect that she has the most infectious laugh known to mankind. Jenessa enjoys watching reality tv, going for adventurous walks, and using Burt’s Bees Lip Shimmers, Dove Daily Moisture Therapy Shampoo and Conditioner, and Maybelline Lash Stiletto Ultimate Length Mascara.

As the merchandising manager, Andrea manages a team who add hundreds of new products to Well.ca every week. In her free time she likes to knit, check out local music, and she’s been known to make ravioli from scratch! Andrea’s favourite products are Kiss My Face Pure Olive Oil Soap, Stash Organic Cascade Mint Tea, and Suncoat Water-Based Nail Polish.

Seimone is part of our friendly customer care team and when she isn’t helping our customers she can be found rocking out, watching British comedies, or making grilled cheese sammies. Seimone’s a fan of St. Ives Swiss Vanilla Moisture Therapy Lotion, Maynards Cherry Blasters, and CoverGirl LashBlast Mascara.

Nicole makes sure that our customers get the best customer service imaginable, so it should come as no surprise that she has a background in hospitality and tourism and is super organized to boot. When she isn’t coming up with organizational systems, Nicole loves to cook - as long as it involves cheese. Her guilty pleasures are reading love stories and historical fictions. Her not so guilty pleasures are Nivea Lip Care Hydro Care, Maynards Sour Wine Gums, and N.Y.C. Liquid Eyeliner.

As Well.ca’s designer, Ryan makes sure that our customers have the best user experiences possible on our site and beyond. His focus is on making things understandable and easy to use. In his spare time when he’s not playing Ultimate, he’s enjoying a cup of Uncle Lee’s Premium Bulk Gunpowder Green Tea, taking his Webber Naturals Omega 3 Cardio Formula Softgels, or looking for lost Playtex Ortho-Pro Latex Pacifiers.

As part of our product team, Rhonda adds to Well.ca’s ever-expanding product selection. She’s also overly fond of both cheese and coffee and enjoys making music, cooking, and camping. Rhonda’s favourite products are Jason Natural Vitamin E with A & C Conditioner, St. Ives Apricot Scrub, and Rimmel London Recover Anti-Fatigue Illuminating Foundation.

Sameera joins Well.ca after graduating from Laurier’s Business program in August 2009. She is a huge basketball fan and has quite the sweet tooth which she frequently satisfies. Her favourite products are Complex 15 Therapeutic Face Cream, Alberto European Extra Hold Weather Resistant Mousse, and Reactine Extra Strength 24 Hour.

Phil is a great shipster and an incredible cook. He spoils us with his cooking every Monday, and he loves everything to do with food! He is a musical dabbler through the guitar and the trumpet, and is inexplicably terrified of whales. Phil’s Well.ca favourites include Braggs Liquid Aminos, Jamieson Vitamins (because we all need vitamins), and, of course, Junior Mints.

When it comes to the books, Xiudong our main man. He’s happy when our books are balanced and there is a positive number at the bottom of the income statement. He has traveled quite a bit and enjoys trying all kinds of food. However, it seems that there is a special space in his stomach reserved just for rice, especially Inari Organic Brown Basmati Rice. He also loves tea like Uncle Lee’s Whole Leaf Organic Green Tea with Jasmine, and believes that tea is not only a drink, but also a nice pasttime.

Kevin loves winter and the great outdoors. He appreciates people who have given thought to their philosophy and ethics, and believes that lateral thinking is invaluable. Kevin’s favourite poems are City of the End of Things and Jabberwocky, and his favourite artwork includes Wooden Mirror and Machine with 23 Scraps of Paper. Some of the many reasons that Kevin loves Well.ca includes the Dr. Scholl’s Shoe Inserts, Jalapeno Pringles, and Moustache Wax.

Trevor’s many interests include quantam physics, classical mechanics, arithmetic, biology, history, comics, and last but definitely not least, Star Trek. Some of his favourite movies include Requiem for a Dream and Dawn of the Dead, and he enjoys all kinds of music. Trevor considers himself to be very opinionated and he believes strongly in Cthulhu. Trevor recommends Sour Patch Kids, Nibs, and Crest Toothpaste from Well.ca.

Mike joins us as the leader of our software team. He enjoys, in no particular order, film, pizza, pad thai, and cookies (the edible kind, not the software kind). When Mike’s not sifting through the bugs and ideas that fill up his inbox, he can be found playing soccer or volleyball. He frequently shops at Well.ca for Axe Essence Deodorant, Burt’s Bees Very Volumizing Pomegranate & Soy Shampoo, and Maynards Swedish Berries.

Hassan has one of the most infectious smiles here at Well.ca. In his spare time he keeps busy playing sports, visiting with friends and family and he loves to cook. His favorite foods include steak and sambosa but his very favourite meal is a home-cooked meal made by his mom. An interesting quirk about Hassan is that he has the memory of an elephant. This comes in really handy working in such a dynamic department. The product that Hassan cannot live without is Vaseline Deep Conditioning Cocoa Butter Body Lotion.

Jenn really likes to rap and write and she’s even performed for us at one of our coffee houses! She also loves comedy and horror movies. She enjoys Softsoap Pomegranate and Mango body wash cause it smells so great and she keeps her nails funky with Sally Hansen Nail Polish.

Derek is a fun-loving member of our merchandising team. He keeps himself very busy in his spare time by hiking, biking and eating copious amounts of seafood. He loves watching stand-up comedy, boxing and live music. He absolutely loves reading. Some of his favourite authors include Tolstoy, Hemingway, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Chuck Palahniuk and Edgar Allan Poe. Derek is a world-class listener. Products that Derek enjoys are: Polysporin Lip Therapy, Dr. Bronner’s Organic Peppermint Liquid Soap, Nivea for Men Sensitive Shaving Foam.

Veronica is a ray of sunshine around the Well.ca office. In her spare time she enjoys grabbing a latte with her daughter, reading biographies and she simply cannot pass a shelf of home decorating magazines without stopping and picking up some new ideas. Just a few of the products that Veronica enjoys are: L’Oreal Skin Genesis Eye Serum, Almay Blendable Eye Pencil and Burt’s Bees Honey Lip Balm.

Matt is a member of our software team and in his spare time he enjoys watching movies, reading, playing sports with his buddies and listening to music. In fact, Matt plays guitar in an indie rock band. His favourite meal is homemade hamburgers cooked on the cottage BBQ served with a side of potato salad. When it is time for a shave, Matt uses Gillette Series Shave Gel for Sensitive Skin.

Amanda is a member of our customer service team. She loves reading, enjoying the outdoors and is super creative in the arts and crafts department. Her favourite foods include cheese and dill pickles. Amanda can’t live without Dove Sensitive Skin Facial Cream and Secret Deodorant.

Lianne is our resident accounts payable expert. She loves to explore nature through country drives, bikes rides and walks. Two things she just can’t live without are: humour on a daily basis and Klorane Dry Shampoo for a great pick me up. With her questioning nature, killer memory and attention to detail, Lianne should have been a private investigator, but her skills are still a great fit for accounting!

Adam comes to us from Kitchener as one of our shippers. Adam really enjoys his co-workers and he can’t wait to have more time with them both in and away from the work place! To him, working at Well.ca is more like helping friends out with a move than working in a shipping dock.

As one of our Software Developers, Catherine builds new features to make Well.ca extra awesome. She also likes to knit and bake cupcakes, so she’s a pretty handy person to have around. A few of her favourite things are Colgate 360 Toothbrush and Nestle Coffee Crisp.

Mat’s an Aquarius. He likes movies, long walks on the beach, and cliches. In his spare time he can be found warming up at the luge track, and beating Gran Turismo on the hardest setting! Mat is our server guy on the development team and is partial to Neutrogena Men Triple Protect Face Lotion with SPF 20, Glysomed Hand Cream, and finally Carmex Lip Balm Jar for when his lips hurt real bad!.

Rebecca helps to make sure that our orders get shipped out on time. When she’s not at Well.ca, she likes baking sugary goods and enjoys photography. Rebecca is also pretty fond of funny flatulence jokes! She likes to use St. Ives’s Apricot Scrub, Soft Lips, Sally Hansen Hard As Nails.

Katie is part of our fantastic customer care team and does everything she can to make our customers happy! In her spare time, Katie likes reading, listening to music, playing cards and Settlers. Katie is also a dessert person! She swears by Sunsilk Captivating Curls Scrunching Mousse and St.Ives Cucumber Melon Moisture Therapy Lotion.

Cassie is a psychology major at U of G and helps out in shipping on busy days. At least, we’re pretty sure that’s what she’s up to behind those cardboard box towers! She enjoys cooking, reading, and procrastinating. When she’s not singing in the shower, she’s scrubbing with St. Ives Apricot Scrub, shampooing with Head and Shoulders for Sensitive Skin, or tasting– no, shaving with some Skintimate Strawberry Tangerine Shave Gel.

Kasia enjoys reading, writing and traveling. A self-proclaimed rolling stone, she is coincidentally also a Rolling Stones’ fan and really good at segues even if this isn’t one. A “roll with the punches” kind of girl, Kasia recommends you always be ready to hop that train, jump that plane, hit the road or sail the open sea because you never know where life’s going to take you next! She stays prepared with Dr. Scholl’s For Her Fast Flats, PharmaSystems Toothbrush Covers, Sudocrem, and – for the ladies – The DivaCup! It changed her life, let it change yours!

Danielle, or Dani as we like to call her, is a 4th year Software Engineering Co-op from the University of Waterloo. One of her favourite pastimes is cycling, and when she’s not on her bike she loves to write. Dani likes to get clean with Nivea Visage Gentle Cleansing Cream, St. Ives Apricot Exfoliating Body Wash, and Dove Go Fresh Energize Beauty Bar.

Glorien is a 3rd year Business student from Wilfrid Laurier University. When she’s not writing posts for the Well.ca blog, she is watching shows on BBC and enjoying breakfast food. When she’s not doing either of those three things, she is waiting for the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie. Glorien’s favourite products are Johnny Depp, Cranium Wow and Ouchless Goody Elastics.

Jeff is a software developer-businessman-wizard-musician extraordinaire. Jeff is extremely busy! He heads an independent record label and an arts collective while working in a magic shop. Unlike Harry Potter, Jeff specializes in eating razor blades and sticking needles through himself (good reason to work at well.ca) - DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME! When he’s not playing with dangerous pointy things, Jeff enjoys playing synthesizers in a number of bands.
