This soap takes me back to my childhood as I grew up using Allenburys basic soap. It was then and still is now wonderful for those of us with sensitive skin. Unlike many of the soaps today, Allenburys is very long lasting as well. You just feel clean all over with a fresh scent.

I purchased this soap specifically for my sensitive skin. I was surpised at how nicely the soap lathered and I loved the smell. It it what "true" clean really smells like.

Allenbury's soap is a wonderful product. I have very sensitive skin and this is a product that I grew up with. You get nice lather, the bar lasts a reasonable time and it does not leave a residue on the skin. It has an old fashioned pure scent and last but not least the price in comparison with other bar soaps is very reasonable especially at Well.ca.

Have used this soap for many years for very sensitive, easily irritated skin, and it works well. I use it in the shower on a daily basis and my skin does not dry out.

Allenburys Basic Soap:
I have use that soap instead of using the Allenburys Plus Soap (I've used the Plus Soap for more than 20 years with amazing results) and I'm very disappointed with the results: dry, itchy and squaly skin as if I was 100 years old...................you should have discontinue this one instead of the Plus Soap with witch I always had smooth and fresh skin... and that I had recommended to all people I knew, all of them with same results than mine.... this was THE soap for aged and allergics peoples...............Hope that you will RECONSIDER your decision for the PLUS SOAP......tell me if you do so and I will be glad to buy your soap again...............until then, I will not use your soap again

Used to use Baby's Own soap but it went out of production so switched to Allenbury's. I have sensitive skin and this does the trick. Because it is hypoallergenic and has no heavy fragrance it works well for me.

It does leave your face tight and dry, but it's good for sensitive skin and it allows your face to absorb a good moisturizer.
