Allevyn thin dressings contain a highly absorbent material embedded in a selfadherent polyurethane matrix. The dressing is covered with a waterproof polyurethane film, which is permeable to oxygen and water vapour and is bacteriaproof.
Allevyn thin dressings employ all the proven benefits of moist wound healing, without any breakdown of the dressing caused by contact with exudate. This promotes early, clean and trouble-free healing of those wounds, which have traditionally proved difficult to care for.
