Previous queen size vinyl mattress protector that I bought from this site, was of much better quality, although supposedly the same product. Look and smell was the same on opening, but the vinyl split when I was putting it on the bed, and has continued to crack in the 3 weeks that it has been on the bed. I would rather pay more for a product that would last longer than a few weeks. I would not buy this product again.

Great value for the price! After airing out, I covered it with a heavy duty cotton fitted mattress pad for the 1st couiple of weeks. Before I bought it, I was washing the cotton mattress pad almost daily. I now use only the vinyl mattress protector, and just wipe it down with antiseptic wipes, then with plain wipes, so there are no odors of any kind remaining. One of the most worthwhile items, that I've ever bought.

It's an okay product considering the price point. It's got that vinyl smell but once you air it out, its not so bad. It looks exactly like a shower curtain liner with some elastic around it. Elastic is pretty weak & the vinyl is very thin, so I'm not sure how long it will last. Before this I had a heavy duty 100% cotton mattress pad but washing it every time there was an accident was a pain (on my 3 yr old son's double bed). So I bought AMG Vinyl mattress protector. It is very hot to sleep on and I was very uncomfortable the nights I slept on it, I found myself sweating a lot. Also, it's got that plastic feel to it so not the best feeling while you're on it. But I bought this one as it would just wipe clean! low maintenance. I would recommend this product if you find yourself washing your mattress pads every night / alternate nights. Or you can just buy a shower curtain liner or a vinyl table cloth with a fleece backing from dollar store for much less and it would do the same trick!

plastic when first opened, but fine once I covered it with my sheets. Only very slight wrinkling noises once it's on the bed. Great product for its price!

Pretty great product, you should get it if you have pets, young kids, young ladies, etc.. Really protects the mattress very well.

Has that vinyl smell in the beginning, but no big deal. Bought it to protect a memory foam mattress I just got. Works great!
