Uses
This product is a muscle relaxant and pain reliever that contains two active ingredients: methocarbamol and ibuprofen. Methocarbamol is a muscle relaxant. Ibuprofen is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that works to relieve pain, reduce fever, and reduce inflammation. This product is used to relieve pain associated with muscle spasm such as back pain, tense neck muscles, strains, and sprains.

Dosage/Directions for use

Adults and children over 12 years of age should take 1 to 2 caplets every 4 to 6 hours as needed. Do not exceed 6 caplets in 24 hours, unless recommended by a physician.

Ingredients
Each white- and purple-coloured, caplet shaped, bilayer film-coated tablets, debossing with "rph" on white side and plain on purple side contains methocarbamol 500 mg and ibuprofen 200 mg.

Nonmedicinal ingredients: pregelatinized starch, maize starch, sodium starch glycolate, microcrystalline cellulose, povidone, sodium lauryl sulphate, FD&C Blue No.2, ferric oxide (red), stearic acid, magnesium stearate, colloidal silicon dioxide, and aquarius BP 19008 (hypromellose and polyethylene glycol).

Precautions
Do not take this medicine if you are taking acetylsalicylic acid (ASA) or ibuprofen, or if you are allergic to ASA, salicylates, anti-inflammatory drugs, or methocarbamol or similar products. People with peptic ulcers, high blood pressure, heart, kidney or liver disease, or any other serious disease should consult their physician before taking this product.

This medicine can cause serious side effects such as digestive system and kidney problems. If you experience abdominal pain, heartburn, nausea or vomiting, bloating, diarrhea or constipation, ringing or buzzing in the ears, nervousness, sleeplessness, any change in vision, fluid retention, itching, skin rashes, or any other side effect or unexplained symptom while taking this medicine, stop using immediately and contact a physician. In case of overdose, call a poison control centre or a doctor at once, even if there are no symptoms.

This medicine may cause drowsiness or dizziness. Do not operate machinery or motor vehicles until you know how this medicine affects you. Avoid alcohol.

Analgesics and muscle relaxants may interact with other medicines. If you are taking any medicines, consult your health care provider before taking this product.

There are not enough studies on the effects of this medicine in pregnant women. Avoid using this during late pregnancy. This medicine may pass into breast milk. Consult your health care provider if you are breast-feeding before taking this medicine.

The safety and efficacy of this medicine has not been established in children younger than 12 years old. This medicine should not be used by people in this age group.

If your symptoms persist for more than 5 days, consult your health care provider.
