The first time I used this, I really had a hard time with the smell. Some people like it, but it nauseates me. As for the effects, I noticed my skin looked a little brighter after I used it, but it didn't really do much for other things, like uneven skin tone or acne. Overall, it is not a bad product but I wouldn't buy it again because of my aversion to its smell.

My skin type: combination and very prone to acne.
Smell and texture: pumpkin and cinnamon (delicious), texture is very puree-like, mixed with oil (so...a cream-free pumpkin soup?).
Sensations after application: tingling
Usage: applied it to clean and dry skin, left it on for 10 minutes. I use it twice a week, before showering.
Noticeable effects: skin is brighter after, a lot smoother especially if I massage my face before washing the product off. The product does not break me out but does leave a thin oil residue (that's why I rinse it off under the shower). It doesn't really get rid of my dead skin which are still visible after every use.

I love love love this mask (and all products by Andalou Naturals)! I was amazed by how easily it washes off and how fresh and glowing my skin looked immediately after removing it with a washcloth. I have very sensitive skin that normally turns red when it comes into contact with water or masks or any other products, but when I take this mask off, my skin is perfectly even-toned (and I typically have an uneven complexion), so this stuff is fantastic. It seems to soothe my skin and also plump it up a bit. It definitely helps treat my acne. I highly recommend it!

Excellent mask for brightening up the complexion. My skin just glows after using it! If I think my skin is looking a bit dull, this is my go to mask. It makes me look so rested after. Compared to other pumpkin masks I have seen around this is set at a great price. Try it out. Pamper yourself ;)

I just purchased this and used it last night. I really enjoyed this mask actually even though it doesn't dry like a traditional clay or mud mask. I found I could see a difference last night after washing it off - my skin looked "fresher" if that makes sense. You can feel a slight tingle, at least I did, because of the Glycolic Acid, but it was in no way uncomfortable at all. I really enjoyed using it and plan to continue to use it - I will update in a month's time with some results. For the price, I highly recommend trying it! It's really a nice product!

I have a somewhat uneven complexion in part due to sun and in part due to acne, and this product is great as it has the brightening benefits of glycolic acid yet it's mild enough it does not irritate my sensitive skin. I leave on for 10 minutes , product doesnt dry but sets and then rinse with warm water, skin is refreshed and brighter without a tight dry feeling.
