This stuff is AMAZING. Yes it does smell strong but it's only the tea tree oil smell and that is a natural oil scent, not perfume that sensitive skins are sensitive to.

We got this recently to treat our baby's diaper rash. Can't figure out why some people don't like this - it smells nice (but it does smell, so if you want a scent-free cream, don't go with this), it's smooth, it goes on great, and you only need a little, so even though it's in a small jar, it's worth the price. It cleared up her diaper rash in ONE application! Amazing. We'd been using zinc oxide cream for a while and it wasn't cutting it. This is also safe with cloth diapers, so it's perfect for us!

Started using this on my baby since day 1 after every messy diaper and she hasn't yet gotten diaper rash. Smells herbal and I like that smell. Pricier than other diaper ointments but don't need a lot each time. I used my last jar for over 5 months! Had it in the car on a warm day and it melted a little, then crystallized when it cooled. I am really happy with this product. We use cloth diapers, and this works well with them. I use a little bit each diaper change, and the jar really lasts quite a while. Was really hoping I'd love this balm after reading excellent reviews, but unfortunately it didn't work well for my newborn who still got a red bum despite applying this as prevention at every change. I think this product may be great as a cloth diaper option, but as a disposable diaper user, I think something with zinc in it helps coat the bum better, especially in the newborn phase when they are pooping at every single change!

I bought this product for my unborn child, however we have found another really great use for this product. My husband gets a heat rash from his uniform that gets extremely itchy and uncomfortable. We applied this bottom balm twice a day for two days and it has cleared it up. This stuff isn't just great for bottoms! This the only diaper cream I use. I also use it in babies skin folds where redness occurs and is gone by the end of the day. I like this balm because it can be used with cloth diapers. It melts on your fingers to make it easy to apply which is really nice. I wish it wasn't so heavily secnted with essential oils, babies don't really need that stuff, although it does smell nice. Love the ingredient list otherwise. As for clearing up diaper rash ... my 5 week old has had a bit of redness on her bum, I can't tell if this balm is actually doing anything to sooth and get rid of it. I'll keep using it to see if it works. It definately isn't irritating her or making it worse.

Maybe I got a bad jar but all I can smell is the tea tree oil. I knew it would sting my LO since it stings my skin. Sure enough he let out a yell as soon as I put it on. Lavender oil is very healing but all I get from my jar is the tto. I have tried Ella's and that seems to be much better (a larger jar too and also safe for cloth diapers). I will probably give this jar away or trash it. One drawback of shopping online.

This balm worked great on my son's redness/ rash in his diaper area. The smell is a bit strong but at how well it works it is very minor. It is very easy to put on. I have also used it on my skin when I got a few dry itchy patches and it clears it up right away. I really like this product and suggest it to others. I cloth diaper and it is nice to find such an effective balm that is CD safe.

Works great for prevention and treatment of diaper rash! I have used for months on my 11 month old son... He never gets a rash! And if one starts this stops it right away! I had absolutely no luck with this product. I originally purchased this product to use on my 3 months old infant's dry skin/eczema as I had read a lot of reviews about it helping moisturize the skin. Unfortunately, it didn't work at all for that. There is a very STRONG herbal smell that makes not just my baby tear but myself and husband as well. As for using it in their diaper area, it worked fine with disposable diapers, however, it left the WORST smells after he pees. I stopped using it after a few times as the smell. The balm application is easy but it is greasy. If you have long nails, be prepared to have a lot of it scraped in your nails. Another issue I had was when I had leftover balm on my finger after application, I rubbed it on a blanket & I noticed that it leaves a stain on the blanket even after washing with Tide Stain Release I couldn't get it out. I was really hoping this worked but not for me and my baby.

This product has a herbal smell but I like it. The balm is like solidified oil and melts with body heat. Moisturizes very well. Used for baby's bottom and eczema. Worked great on the eczema. The balm is pricey but a little goes a long way so it's worth it.
