stage 1 cubes are good for young babies just starting on solids - i usually puree some veggies, meat, and congee (rice/water combo) in separate containers. once you freeze, then you can mix and match combos depending what you want your baby to eat that day. in the beginning they don't eat that much, so 1 tray may be all you need. i find that 2 trays is about right to cover lunch/dinner combos. (breakfast is just baby cereal and some fruit jar - it's harder to puree/strain fruit in large quantities). only thing is, if you have more than 1 child, eventually they discolour or crack fr/ repeated freezer use, or if you drop them.

I love my babycubes. They're easy to fill, clean, stackable, the lids are easy to open and also stay nice and shut once closed. They're portable too, and hold just the right amount of food for my baby. I would reccommend these to anyone who wants to make their own baby food.

A fantastic product for anyone who has a baby starting out on solid foods! The product is BPA and Phthalates FREE, is microwave safe and dishwasher safe which is very convenient for us busy moms! They come in 3 stages which helps with our babies growing appetites and helps for portion sizing. I also love that it comes with a removable plaque that you can write on with a dry erase marker!I know once you freeze the foods, it is difficult to remember or identify what it is and you can write down the date to ensure the freshness of your frozen foods. I highly recommend this product!

Love the baby cubes! perfect size to start my little one on new foods. With a busy one at home, it is so nice for free home delivery too!

I love the baby cubes! They are the perfect size for proper portion control and when my little guy gets bigger, I will just use 2 of them. They are great for travel too so I can bring my quality home made food with us where ever we go. They are also easy to store in my freezer and don't take up a tonne of space. I highly recommend this product!

These are fantastic! The perfect size for introducing new foods. I love how easy they are to store, clean and heat up. Will be buying the next size when required.

Love, love, love this product! Works great. I like it better than just ice cube trays since you can keep the food protected from other smells, etc. in the freezer. You can still pop out frozen baby food cubes and store in a ziplock bag and re-use the tray for more food.

Love these! I've had no problems with the kids popping open at all, but I've only frozen fruit and veggies so far. Ill be buying stage 2 soon

Very convenient for baby food making! Highly recommend. Trays stack for all 3 sizes, micorwaveable for easy defrosting!

The Baby cubes are great!! The stage one cubes are rather small tho. My daughter can eat 3 cubes of food!
But... It's actually great because i can give her a variety of foods at each meal.
3 cubes with different foods in them!

Great price. I like that they come with a tray. That way you can stack them easily and save space

Awesome product, no issues with lids, easy to pop out provided you don't overfill. I have used mine heaps already with no issues and will be buying the next sizes up when the time comes.

These are the perfect size, and I can store extras of veggies that we prepare for us - and just prepare them for our little one instead! Just do not fill them too full - they pop open after freezing. I will buy the bigger ones once needed as well!

I was very excited to try this product, since I wanted to make my own baby food. Generally, I was pleased, it's convenient to have the lids attached, but I was disappointed when one of the lids cracked.

Great for baby food (obviously), although this size is pretty small so I found it best for new foods. Once my baby had sampled a food a few times, the Stage 2 size was better. Depending on what type of food I made, the lid popped up (sweet potatoes, chicken, mango, and melon all made it pop, but none of the green vegetables.) Regardless of which cube size you use, all the containers and trays work together, so I mix and match, putting a few 1oz, some 2oz, and a 4oz on the same tray. Super easy system.

These are perfect for freezing tiny pieces of cooked meat for my small dogs to use as high value training treats later. One of the small cubes can hold quite a lot of treats for a tiny dog, so I only need to have one thawed at a time for my two dogs. I haven't ever had a lid pop up, though I can see the potential.

These are fantastic for storing and serving babyfood. Because the lid is attached, they are super easy to fill and put in the freezer. They are so useful - this is my go-to baby shower present, too!!

Love baby cubes! So convienent for freezing and taking with you. Just wish they were leak proof.

These have been super handy! I prefer storing my baby food one time, not using ice cube trays and then transferring! The cubes can also be stacked on eachother so I often don't use the tray and just stack the cubes. I like they they are a good price and BPA free!

containers do not stay clicked in, cant seem to write on each container so that you can have different types of food on one tray. not as convenient as just using icecube trays and ziplock bags. wont buy again.

I really like these for freezing things that my son only eats in small amounts - like apricots or spinach. The lids do pop open once in a while, but it's usually when I have overfilled them. My son didn't take long before he started eating larger volumes of food, so I find the Stage 2 size to be more useful on a daily basis.

In my experience the lid pop-up problem only happens when you fill them too full. These things are great. Would highly recommend them to anyone making their own baby food. (It's super easy - go for it. :)

The smaller size one works perfect for my 7 month daughter, who eats little amount of solid food. I like the lid being attached so that I never lose them. I never really use the tray. I just freeze them in plastic box or zip bags. It takes up much less space. I also don't have lid pop up problem.

Fantastic product! I make my own baby food and I just loves these. I highly recommend Baby Cubes. They are easy to wash, snap closes securely, stackable and easy to wash.
* I have NEVER had a problem with them popping open in the freezer.

If you're planning on making your own babyfood, these are practically a necessity. It's so convenient to just pop a food cube out, defrost and serve. My only complaint is that the lids on the small size cubes do open, but it hasn't affected the food that I made at all. I would recommend these to anyone.

These were a little small, even for my 5 month old. The lids pop open in the freezer. Stage 2 are much more practical.
Catherine: about a year ago
I like the smaller size, but the they don't sit well in the tray and the lids kept popping open in the freezer. I probably wouldn't buy these again as the 2 oz. containers are much better.

J'aime bien. J'aurais juste préférer que les petit contenant ai quelque chose pour les retenir a la plaque de fond.. mais ce n'est qu'un détail!

Love these for homemade baby food, price is way cheaper here then any where else I have seen!
g: about a year ago
I didn't like these they kept opening in the freezer and the food kept getting freezer burned..the 2 oz ones are much better!

These are great starter cubes for homemade baby food. They hold just the right amount. I find they don't stack as nicely as the larger cubes though.
Joanne: more than a year ago
I really like these, they're great! I just wish that I bought more than just two sets. I follow some recipes from a website, and it says that apples and pears will turn brown when frozen, but with these cubes they don't!
B: more than a year ago
It's true they don't hold that much, but it's the perfect size for baby's first foods and portable to boot. Just grab and go. I also had one container crack, but that was from not following the instructions - run under warm water before opening directly from the freezer! After baby's short time of using this size, they are convenient to hold little portions of tomato paste, pesto, lemon zest, etc!

I had high hopes for using these to store frozen, homemade baby food but after using them a few times (and always hand washing) one of them cracked right up the side. I also found they just weren't that practical when making large batches of food as they really don't hold much. Good old ice cube trays do the trick, don't bother buying these.
