Dry Mouth toothpaste with specially designed LP3 salivary enzyme system that supplements the mouth's natural protection. Dry mouth is commonly associated with the use of medications and the following problems: constant dry feeling, sore or bleeding gums, cracked lips and bad breath. Biotene contains beneficial BioActive enzymes found in saliva, to help maintain the oral environment and provide protection against dry mouth.

Medicinal Ingredients: glucose oxidase 0.0229% w/w, lactoferrin (bovine milk) 0.0166% w/w, lactoperoxidase (bovine milk) 0.0350% w/w, lysozyme (egg white) 0.0166% w/w, potassium thiocyanate 0.0244% w/w, sodium monofluorophosphate 0.7600% w/w, (0.1% w/w fluoride).
Non-Medicinal Ingredients: beta-D-glucose, calcium lactate, calcium pyrophosphate, cellulose gum, flavour, glycerin, hydrated silica, isoceteth-20, sodium benzoate, sorbitol, xylitol.

If you use inhalers, cortisostreroids or any medication that leaves your mouth dry, you need to use Biotene. Certain medications, especially inhalers for asthma, etc., kill the "good" bacteria in your mouth, and allow the bad bacteria to thrive, cause plaque and tartar build-up and encourage cavities. Since I started using BIotene my oral hygienist and dentist have noticed remarkable improvement in the condition of my gums and teeth. Biotene is not cheap, but you don't use much so it goes a long way.

I bought this product Biotene while in Florida last fall. I have severly dry mouth from medication. It works wonderfully. With the affects of having a clean feeling mouth. When can I get it in Canada? It's a great product and really works.
