Generally my issue with lip balm is that when my lips are really dry and I apply a thick layer I can taste it for hours after because it's all waxy and thick. I have never once had this problem with Burt's. I have a stick in my desk, one attached to my keys, one in my coat and one next to my bed. I live in the arctic (above the 54th parallel) and I use nothing else. I'm still applying 5 times a day but with anything else it would be 15.

Love Love Love ALL Burt's Bees products. Must say that this is the best lip balm I ever used in my entire life. Makes my lips soft and smooth, goes on great. Love love love it!

This stuff works great. I used to use Blistex, but Burt's work so much better. Plus, it's natural. Blistex is not.

This is the best lip balm I have ever used, and I love it. It doesn't have that drying-out effect that many have. I don't end up reapplying constantly, I feel like this actually helps protect my lips while they heal. It's not waxy or fake feeling, either.

This product is so good and I am proud to say I have successfully finished two full tubes without losing any. :) It works great leaving the lips soft and it has a cooling sensation as well! It's a little pricy but it's definitely worth it. I will continue to buy this product until they stop manufacturing it.

Good for the lips but really good for use as an aromatherapy stick.
Sensitivity to perfumes allows me to sniff this, and helps greatly to avert some untoward side effects from perfume .

I've been using this lip balm since 2001. It's the only one that doesn't leave a white waxy film on my lips. It absorbs and moisturizes very well. My lips tend to crack during the harsh winter months and this heals that problem with a couple of applications. I also love the minty sensation.

Within about a days use your chapped lipped will be healed.
The peppermint flavour (from peppermint oil) is a nice touch too. Better than the fruity concoctions you find most times.
Lack of any 'shine' is great as well.

I tried this lip balm years ago, but I remember that I didn't like it very much. I actually had the one in a small round tin, but I think it's the same formula as the one in this tube. I enjoyed the peppermint scent and the refreshing feeling when first applied on the lips. But overall, I didn't find this balm to be very moisturizing; I think it's a little too waxy. After a short amount of time, the lips feel dried out again.

Burt's Bee's Original (mint) lip balm is the best lip balm I've ever used! I used to go through tube after tube of other brands for my dry lips, Burt's Original tubes last me a long time because it works and I don't find myself constantly applying it; plus, because it is thick it doesn't seem to melt away like other brands. Burt's Bees is waxy when you first put it on but I find it absorbs quickly. I tried Burt's Bee's other scent/flavor lip balms and didn't like them at all they smell like oil gone rancid and I don't want that odour under my nose.

I love this lip balm! You don't need to reapply every 10 seconds like blistex and it doesn't leave your lips feeling greasy. It's perfect for dry lips. And well.ca has it for 45 cents cheaper than stores.

This is by far the best lip balm I have ever used. A lot of other lip balms dries your lips out and a tendency to always applying it.
The first time I used this my lips was drying out fast but after a while, my lips are in better condition now.
Highly recommended!

I love the cooling from the mint and I appreciate that the ingredients are all-natural, but I found it hard to get used to the hard, waxy texture. I found I had to reapply more often than with other lip balms.

I use the minty one, it's quite a good lip balm. However, it is true that it is a bit hard and does not slide easily on the lips. But it's natural and works for chapped lips.

I love this lip balm! I've tried Burt's Bees honey and pomegranate lip balms, but now I just stick to the original. It's the most moisturizing and it's refreshingly minty, too. Plus it's natural, what more could you ask for?

Really quite hard and waxy, feels and smells like you've rubbed beeswax candle on your lips.
I'll stick with softlips, which feels and smells better and has sunscreen.

i'm a lip-balm connosieur, and i must say that this is a great balm. A minty scent but a nourishing and smooth texture. This is much better that their honey lipbalm which I found to smell awful and dry my lips out.

A lot of lip balms contain toxic ingredients. However, with this lip balm you need not to worry! It has a slight minty-type scent/flavor that comes with a light tingly feeling on the lips. The only downfall is that it is a rather waxy type product, but otherwise, its great!

I know that this product is very popular, but I have had only short-term satisfaction using it. The menthol is soothing, and the beeswax makes my lips moist for a while, but I find myself needing to apply it over and over again because my lips keep getting more chapped! Shouldn't a lip care product heal your lips, not make them worse?
