Not greasy, not too light. It leaves a nice colour that's just a little sheer but lasts. I have Plum, my fav, and Fig and Watermelon. I would reccomend!

I always wanted to try this and finally did.I Love it ,not at all greasy or sticky,i got FIG and its a pretty natural colour as i have fair skin.I definately will buy again .Thanks well.ca You's always have the best products!Highly recommend this balm /shimmer.

I'll purchase this again. Rhubarb is a lovely shade, though it looks different on my mother who has a much pinker tone to her skin, on me, it is much redder than the sample colour on the site. Although, as I said, I'll purchase it again, I still have to be really careful with it. The consistency is mushy and it easily causes a mess, it also doesn't roll back down after I've rolled it up. The trick is to only roll it up enough for what you need to use, that way it isn't messy.

I love the Burt's Bees Lip Shimmers. I have been using them for many long years, in place of lipstick. I have tried many different shades, to co-ordinate with whatever colors I was wearing or nail polish. I currently use Fig, since it is more natural to my lip color, but I'm about to try Plum, since my new wardrobe shade is deep shades of burgundy and bordeaux. I have never found this product to be drying, quite the opposite, I find them very effective in keeping my lips soft and I live in a very dry region of Canada, especially in the winter.

I expected the Rhubarb colour to be a pink glaze. Instead it made my lips very red. While I liked the feel of this going on I think that the mint will eventually dry my lips out. I gave it a three for the feel.

I bought this in rhubarb. It's a dark stain and I found it to be quite matt and very drying. It's closer to a lipstick than a lip balm; in fact I can't see any resemblance to a lip balm, except that it didn't last long.

Burt's Bees Lip Shimmers are my favourite. I've been using them for over two years. I like the subtle colours (Peony is my favourite) and cooling, tingling sensation it gives. I also use it with a lip liner in the similar colour on occasion which gives depth to the colour.

Love this product. Perfect blend between lip colour (my favourite is Fig) and a lip balm. Only problem is I keep misplacing them and so I have about 4 or 5 floating around my house/purse!

I purchased the cherry one thinking it was going to smell/taste like cherry but it taste/smells like peppermint oil which is one of the ingredients. I would rather use my finger to apply the lip shimmer than use the stick alone.

The best lip gloss ever! The colors are not too intense but give you a hint of color and unlike a lot of glosses and lipsticks, it isn't sticky and doesn't dry out quickly. There is also a minty sensation when you put it on. It's also small and easy to carry in your pocket - not that it stops me from constantly losing it;-) I always buy Guava because it's a nice shade of pink with a hint of silver to give your lips a shine. Highly recommend it!

Purchased this in Watermelon, nice colour and just enough shimmer. It certainly does not have the coverage of a lipstick. It does have a minty feel and smell to it, which I don't mind. I will buy it again and probably a few for stocking stuffers.

Love that it's 100% natural, and the minty freshness. The colour for me is awesome (guava), but just a heads up it's SUPER shimmery and metallic. I love it, but not really something to wera in a professional setting.

Like everyone else, I loved this product. I bought the papaya (colour is almost identical to the swatch above). I usually try to buy Canadian but I far prefer this one to the Green Beaver lip shimmer, which goes on slightly chunky. This is smooth and the mint is nice without being overwhelming. Lasts a long time, too! I don't like a really dark/dramatic lip and this adds just a nice sheen of colour.

I love these lip balms. I give them away as gifts to my sisters every Xmas. They do go rancid if not used up within a year or so. But when they are good they are fresh and bright.

These are a good alternative to chemical-laden lipsticks and glosses. The lighter colors are a bit frosted-looking when you put them on, so if that's not your look, then go with the darker colors (which look a bit sheer when on).

I like these alright. They're not waxy and I love the hint of peppermint tingle. I have rhubarb, peony, and carmel. All pleasant and wearable. I thought the rhubarb was too dark for me at first, but if I dab it on instead of swiping and top it with a clear or pink gloss it's lovely. The peony and carmel are very similar and show up quite nude on me, not anything like the 'Carmel' square above, which is just fine. Love that they're safe.

I love that it's tiny and slim, so I can fit it into my tiny make up bag really easily. I got the champagne colour and it was exactly what I was looking for. Light, and moisturizing. Wish it came with SPF though.

I really love this lip shimmer. I have the caramel shade (I'm olive skin toned) and it goes on virtually invisible - with a little sheen. It keeps my lips nice and moisturized and has a nice peppermint scent which adds a nice touch.

This is a great balm! I have used both Champagne and Nutmeg. It gives the perfect amount of tint with no mirror required! It's also very smooth and not sticky at all. It has a nice peppermint taste, as well, and it's so thin that you can store it in your pocket without adding bulk or discomfort.

I have the peony one, first time buying Burt's products. I like the tingly sensation and the shimmery tint. Since I don't like wearing lipsticks, this one feels very light and leaves a little colour..however, I find that it wears off quickly and leaves my lips dry, so I have to re-apply a few times a day.

This product is really nice. I have fig, and there really is so much colour to it. You hardly need to apply any and you get a good amount of colour. It's moisturizing, and way nicer than lipstick. If you're feeling saucy, and you want to go out on the town with some nice looking lips, go with this!

I bought the Champagne color. I can only see the shimmer, hardly any color to it. The tube does not unwind back (or mine is broken). I had to softly push it back in with my lips while twisting the bottom. I am satisfied with the product, and will try another deeper color.

This is one of the few products that seems to live up to its self-proclaimed "the world's best lip balm" fame. I got the cocoa colour and it has just the right amount of colour while at the same time not drying out your lips. And I love how it shimmers! Very nice product. Sometimes this balm is in short supply so I like to stock up (hint: it seems to be pretty popular).
