Colora Henna Cream is 100% natural vegetable organic hair colour.
Big disappointment - complete waste of time to expect that this would cover gray - in fact I'm sure my hair had even more gray in it after using this product! Would definitely not waste money on it again!
I've been using this henna cream for 2 years. I like it for I'm so confident that it is safer than any other of products. Will keep use it for REST of my life -:)
I've been using powder henna way back in 90's when i was in middle east where its widely used by arab women. But since moving in Canada in 2009 i hardly found henna powder in the canadian market so i decided to browse online for a substitute. Thanks God i found this item! Never run out of it again. Currently i have a stock for a year usage. I don't have to worry about my sensitive scalp, neither my grey hair. I'll be using this product as long as i live. :-)))))
A year ago I switched from chemical dye to henna powder. The powder wasn't covering my grey enough so I switched to henna. So much easier to use! I mix black with brown to get a deep brown. I leave the henna on for two hours for a deeper colour. I've noticed that the henna creme washes out quicker. However, once a changed my shampoo to a much gentler, natural brand, I found the colour lasted much longer. With both the powder and creme, my hair is softer, fuller and glossy. And no more chemicals on my head or washing down the drain!
Love this product. I use the auburn to enhance the red already in my hair, and also to cover greys. The grey strands turn into nice highlights, and the overall colour is gentle and lets your natural colour shine through as well. Also makes my hair very soft and feel healthy afterwards. I've been using this for years, and haven't yet found a better one.
"a thin layer of transparent color so that the original hair color will shine through"
This is in the description above especially for those who are looking for a product to cover grey hair. This phrase really only means that this product is NOT for you, as it is NOT meant to cover grey hair. It is meant to enhance your existing colour. It says it right there in the description, so don't expect no all-natural-healthy-subtle-covers-grey-and-makes-me-15-years-
-younger miracle, because getting that would be just that: a miracle.
I am using this to bring out my barely there reds on my otherwise lightish brown, limp and lifeless hair. My hair literally comes alive (root lift, body, bounce) and I have never managed to achieve this with any other product. Gotta see it to believe it!
Although it blended my very few greys right in, this should never be used to dye visibly grey hair, unless you want it to be pink, orange or beige.
I love this product; I use the auburn and it accentuates my natural colour and turns my grey into highlights, also leaving my hair feeling soft and conditioned and my scalp nurished and healthy.
I feel like I am hitting a jackpot when I use this product which allows me to cover my grey hair without any allergic reaction. I have tried many chemical hair dye products on the market without any success. My sensitive scalp reacts to all of these products, I usually end up taking reactine, claritine to ease my allergy. One day, a good friend recommends this product which she uses herself. The first time I use it, I love how it feels after : no allergic reaction, just beautiful hair... I highly recommend this product !
The mahogany did not work very well in my dark hair. Did not cover my grey at all. Bit of a disappointment. Would not buy again.
I would give this product 3 stars. Cream is easier than powder, but there was no shine like some people said and it washed off in like a week. I did not even see any colour change on my hair.
Used Henna for 1st time in 20yrs, very happy with product, used mahogany on my dark brown hair and it gave me nice rich colour and it gave my grey nice carmel highlights. I will not go back to other haircolours due to the harming affects on my hair. Will try the powder version next just to compare but the liquie was easy. I left it on for 3 hours so that it would cover the grey.
What a wonderful product. The creme is much easier to use then the powder and much easier to wash out of your hair
Great white hair coverage and conditioner... but lasted only a few washings. Did everything as directed, I was expecting longer stay.
I love the product. It is easy to put on and wash. Will definitely buy more as required.
Just so fabulous, leaves your hair shiny and beautiful, this liquid is much easier to use than the dry stuff- I love it, hard to find...but Well.ca has it!! Colors my hair just awesome, I have alot of grey at 53 years old, and makes my hair look so healthy!!
Horrible in terms of adding tint. I have dark brown/black hair, and as someone who has used real Henna a number of times before, I was expecting that this would definitely add that red shine to my hair. But nothing not one bit.
Was definitely disappointed - however the only reason I gave it 2 stars instead of one is that it does condition your hair beautifully, that's for sure.
Great and very easy to use. The result wonderful. In fact this is my first time use it and I will keep using it.
Great grey coverage! Will continue to order it off well.ca for a long time.
Definitely recommended as it is natural and less messy than the powder, give it a try!
I like using this between highlights - covers grey and gives different colours to hair from original highlights. No mixing; it comes in bottle where tip can be snipped off. Great for conditioning.
this is the best product for colouring hair without bleach. its natural and provides a healthy shine to your hair. I find that I need to leave it on for an hour and a half for best results
I love this stuff! The only haircolour that makes your hair healthier after you use it!
WARNING!!! I have noticed some major discrepancies regarding the color charts in French and English (these charts are provided in the box), that may greatly affect one's expectation of the product. In English, using the color "black", "brown", or "chestnut" on grey/white hair will result in: "black", "brown", or "chestnut" colored hair... HOWEVER, in French, they warn you that the resulting color will be "ashen", "clear apricot", or "pale apricot". Also, according to the French color chart, using the black coloration on dark brown hair will give them "ebony highlights" (not turn them black); while using it on light brown hair will make them look "dark brown". After reading Jayne and Stefania's comments, I believe that the French chart seems to be the most accurate one.
