After reading the positive reviews, I thought this would be the perfect sharpener, however I think I got a lemon: my sharpener doesn't work well at all and nearly destroyed three eye pencils so far, even though I was very careful while using it. I suppose it works well with hard pencils, but if the material is soft, it's not the best sharpener (or, as I said, maybe it's just this one sharpener I bought).
