This is an excellent mirror... 10x on one side, 1x on the other. the 10x magnification is very clear and even though the pedestal is tall, the mirror is so large around that anyone can use it. This mirror is not lighted, however, and while I thought that my bathroom was bright enough, it is not. So I needed to use additional (inexpensive) lighting in the area where I use this mirror. Now it is perfect!
