The scent is very realistic, quite nice, it smells like real apples. However, that is antibacterial soap, it lists Triclosan as ingredient. I wasn't paying enough attention when I added it to my cart. I was using another Dawn, 'Pure Essentials', hypoallergenic, Citrus infusion, not antibacterial, lovely dishwashing soap. Triclosan contributes to the problem of developing resistant bacteria.

I've always loved the "Dawn" line of dish soap. It foams up well, it cuts grease, it doesn't dry out my hands as much as most other soaps, and it smells good. The powerscrubbers really do work - you don't need to use as much soap to get the same clean.

I won't buy any other dish soap. It supports two wildlife organizations, the International Bird Rescue and The Marine Mammal Center. It smells good & cleans great. It's a quality dishwashing soap. I hope they come out with more products.

I have liked Dawn because it is anti - bacterial. Another reason is Dawn is used to save wildlife because of it's unique formula. A big plus for me.
