Despite the strange religious statements on the bottle, and the lack of fair trade certification logo on this product, I buy it for its incredible almond aroma and its genteness. The soap can be diluted for better value.

Not sure I could add much to all the positive reviews here. I bought it for the first time a little over a year and a half ago and have been using it ever since as a body wash and household cleaner for some things. We have a bunny and love that it is safe to clean around him with. It smells heavenly as others have said like marsipan or wedding cake and is just a bit thicker than water but lathers up well enough. You'll get lots of suds from a poof or sponge. As I understand it the difference between liking it as a shampoo or not can mostly depend on the type of water you have, hard or soft. (You'll get a better result with soft.)

When this soap first came, I was freaked out by all the mumbo jumbo on the bottle... the maker of this soap was in a mental institution before and you can tell lol. I tore off the label to save me from feeling weird, and have quite enjoyed this soap. It is gentle and smells awesome. I tired it as shampoo once and it was awful. But as soap and other stuff, it's great.

I love this soap. It smells incredible but doesnt leave a strong lingering scent. It lathers up well on a sponge and a small bit goes a long way. This is my go to product when at the gym since I can use it on my face, body & hair. I have seborrheic dermatitis and this product helps keep my scalp under control when I dont wish to use the expensive perscription shampoo provided by the doctor. It takes some work to lather into hair but keeps it clean as a whistle! I'll keep buying this product and all other Dr. Bronner soaps.

My family loves this product. We use it as a body wash and also in our daughter's bath. A small drop goes a long way! It has a pleasant mild fragrance and leaves the skin feeling soft and clean without residue.

Castile soap is so nice, it always leaves me feeling so naturally fresh and clean, and almond is such a soft, comforting fragrance. Any fans of Lush's Snowcake soap (it's a limited edition soap that Lush only brings out a Christmas time) will love this - the smell is identical. Warm, marzipanish, but not too sweet.

This is my favourite soap!! I use it to shower, shave, wash my hair. It is the only soap I use on my 2 children and they love how foamy it gets (so do I because I know there's no SLS!!) Almond is my fave, but the other scents are just as wonderful.

I always stash some pure castile soap in my house, and this is far the best- Because of the scent!
It's not too foody or sweet scented which comfort me even in coldest Canadian winter weather.
I'm using this soap (as with other pure castile soap) for hand, body, face, and sometimes I use this for laundry. All my delicates happy with this.

I love all of Dr.Bronner's suds! They are pure castille soaps made with just the best fairly traded, organic ingredients and they don't cost much! I use tea tree for my acneic face and have been using lavender as a body wash. Now that I have tried the almond one it's going to live in the shower. The smell is rich and comforting.

I purchased this soap to wash my dog. It made him smell heavenly. :) I have tried it as a body wash and shampoo as well and have been equally impressed. I find a little goes a long way as it is very liquid. It doesn't lather as well as conventional soap, but it doesn't bother me too much because it's free of chemicals which is a huge bonus in my book.
