Very nice lather. A littie goes a long way! Unscented and Mild, great for babies skin! Love it!
My husband and I use Dr. Bronner's for everything around the house- hand and dish soap, laundry detergent, cleaning and bathing. I love the peppermint most, but the baby mild is much kinder to my skin. It is as unscented as you can get (does not smell like vomit). It also lasts forever. There are only a couple ingredients, so you know exactly what you're using and that it's completely safe.
I have been searching for chemical free organic soap for 5 years. I love this soap, I don't react negatively to this soap like I do with others. I am highly sensitive to chemicals. I even brush my teeth with this soap all I need is a drop or two and does a better job than regular toothpaste.
A bit too mild though work better if you boil it in water to make cleaning products. I used it for making my own laundry detergent, cleaning products and dishwashing liquid. I will probably buy it again.
Excellent real soap.
I usually dilute it 60/40 soap to water. Lasts forever!
Love this product. Use it to make my own soaps. By itself it is excellent too!
unscented, low lathering, multi-purpose -- can be used as a shampoo, body wash, even as a pet shampoo. I trust this product; I'm very discriminate (like you) about what I'm willing to try on my baby. Instead of carrying liquid hand soap, baby shampoo and baby body wash, baby pacifier/toy "detergent", just pour this product into one container and carry the ONE container. Convenient!
Great basic product to have around the house! The bottle that I received recently was a bit cloudier in colour than the bottles I have received before, which disappointed me a bit, as I sometimes use the soap to make bath products with it for gifts, but the product itself sill works the same. This particular bottle will have to be used at home, though.
Great that well.ca carries this item. Both of our children have eczema. We've been using this as a handsoap (1:4 dilution in water) -- a bit watery, but suds up nicely. Also made an all-purpose cleaner (1 gallon hot water, 1/2 cup vingear, 1/2 cup soap, 1 tbsp borax) and it does the job quite well. Haven't tried making a non-borax laundry detergent yet, but will in the near future.
I love the Dr. Bronners Organic Baby Milk liq soap, I have alot of alergies when it comes to soaps, and this is one that agrees with me totally..Highly recommend!
We bought this to make our own laundry detergent, and it's fantastic! We were looking for an alternative to grated soap as to not build up on our cloth diapers, and this has really done the trick. It's concentrated, so you don't have to use a lot, and it's sensitive and all natural!
Best soap ever! My family uses this as shampoo, hand soap (50% solution) and for really dirty laundry.
I use this soap for almost everything soap-related in our home. Handsoap, toothpaste, shampoo, cleaning... It's awesome.
I love this soap. It does a great job on everything and is hypoallergenic. I don't use it on my face though, it dries out my ski.
We have been using this soap on our 2 year old since he was born, both in the bath, as a hand soap, and diluted in water for a homemade diaper wipes solution. He's never had a skin rash or diaper rash!
The only downside is that it does sting when it gets in the eyes, but we are just extra careful when washing our toddler's face and hair!
I use this soap in my homemade all natural laundry soap for my baby's cloth diapers. I love it!
This is really good soap. It lasts forever too since you can dilute it with water and still have a strong soap.
I just recently had a baby and was concerned about the harsh chemicals that were in the cleaning products I was using. I was looking for something more natural so I can have peace of mind that my baby isn't crawling in harmful chemical residue. I've never used this before, read up on it and different uses, thought I would give it a try. I have to say it does clean the floors really well! I'm also using it as hand soap in a foam dispenser. Great product, would recommend it!
This is wonderful and actually soothes my skin when I've been contaminated with gluten.
Great product for using in my homemade cleaners and shampoo. Smell is not so nice by itself but a few drops of essential oils fixes that problem!
I'm happy with this product. It sudses up very well, but is very mild. A little goes a long way, so it's a good value.
I bought this soap because it is Potassium Hydroxide (something which can be derived from wood ash) based, as opposed to the usual Sodium Hydroxide soaps. This was important to me as I have a grey water system and needed something that wouldn't kill plants or contaminate my soil over time.
I suffer with MCS as well as scent sensitivity. Dr. Bronner's baby unscented is the best soap I have found. I have a container of it at each sink to use for handwashing. When bathing I just put a small amount on a dry washcloth and then wet and its good for my whole body. I also use it as a shampoo. Its very good for a general cleaner around the house too, just put it in small bucket of water as you would any cleaner. My dog is also not well. I use it as my doggy shampoo. My dog starts sneezing when exposed to chemical scents. Its very good for all porposes.
I can't believe this product! When I first received, we tried to read through the propaganda written all over it so we could use it on our children. After a little bit of frustration, we realized that it needed to be diluted and that if it gets in the child's eyes, you need to rinse for 15 minutes!!!! What kind of product is that??? We immediately returned for a refund.
I like it, less irritating on my baby's eczema skin, it's nice. I've just ordered the shikakai body wash for myself
A great product, love the way it feels on my skin, about half a tablespoon can cover the whole body. I got it quickly and was well informed about everything. A great choice. I would absolutely purchase again.
This product has become a staple in my home and I can't live without it now! I find it smells just like pure, clean soap - which it is! I use it for everything - except washing my hair (it's an oil soap, so common sense tells me the results will not be good - although it works for babies' hair because there is so little of it) I use it to wash baby, wash dishes, wash fruit and veggies and as a body wash in the shower. I also mix it with other ingredients to make my own floor wash, baby wipe spray and all purpose household cleaner.
Mix a bit with baking soda until you get a frosting like consistency and use it to clean your bathtub and sink - you'll be amazed how well it works!
A little tiny bit produces tons of lather so a large bottle lasts a long time.
This is the worst soap I've ever used period. Yes, it did make my skin feel soft and had a great lather, but it literally smells like vomit. I got out of the shower and was nearly ill, and my partner was also revolted by the smell. I used it in my hair and it left my hair a greasy mess. I had to shower three times with dish soap to get the film out of my hair and smell off my skin, and even then a day later I'm still smelling a bit of that vomit smell.
I agree... it is good, but thin and can easily splash into eyes. That was my error and it landed me in the hospital for a Morgan Rinse of my eye, with temporary burns to the eye. Be careful!
This is the ONLY thing that works on my eczema baby. It isn't like normal baby soap that won't make their eyes tear, so you have to be careful. Since we have been using it, her skin is almost entirely cleared up - this from the girl who had broken weeping skin, infections, etc. Besides all that it does for her, they are a Fair Trade company and certified organic!
This is good soap, the only problem is it's not a "no tears" soap, so I was reluctant to use it on my 2 year old who can be unpredictable in the bath with soapy hands! Otherwise a good soap, I use it to shave my legs with and it's not drying, really lathers well.
I love this product, I use it mixed with borax and essential oils for a homemade all-natural household cleaner.
I love this product! Has a nice, silky feel and a good lather. Love that it's both organic and fair trade! Often hard to find both. I'm using it as a body soap and a dish soap. Great product!
I was so happy to be able to find this particular product at well.ca. Not only am I using it for myself but I've purchased a couple of bottles for my newborn grandchildren. There are very few products out there that don't contain unsafe additives, which is worrisome to me, especially when it comes to babies & children, who will absorb even higher concentrations.
I had been doing a lot of research lately trying to find safe alternatives to what we've grown accustomed to using over the years. This particular product kept coming up as an ideal choice. Until I discovered well.ca however, I was having difficulty purchasing it within Canada.
