I have always used the regular store bought brands of shaving cream. When I realized the chemical ingredients in those brands, I knew I needed to find something safer and healthier for myself. I purchased Dr. Bronner's Organic Lavender Shaving Soap Gel and I'm quite happy. When it comes out of the tube it is dark brown and kind of a sticky feel. But as you rub your hands together it lathers up nicely. It leaves my underarms and legs feeling very smooth and I no loner get the razor burn I used to with store bought brands of shaving cream. I would recommend this product to others.

So before this I have always used the chemical shaving creams that foam up. But I am trying to (slowly) get rid of my chemical produts, and use more natural things. I would for sure reccomend this! I find it just as moisterizing - if not more - than my old chemical foaming shave gels. On top of that, it's fair trade. And the plastic tube it comes in is, I'm sure, better for the environment that those spray can things the chemical shaving cream comes in. And it's a nice lavender smell. And a little goes a long way - sure, it was 10 bucks, and I can get the chemical stuff for half that, but, really, you don't need much of this at all! I have the feeling that this tube is going to last me a really long time, and be at least as cheap as the chemical stuff, maybe even cheaper. Do your body and the planet a little good, and give this a whirl!

This is definitely the best shaving soap I have ever used. It goes on smoothly, you don't need a lot, and it gives you a really close shave! I wasn't 100% sure on the smell, and it comes out of the tube liquidy brown, but after having used it for two weeks I am sold. I won't be buying any other shaving gel/cream/soap. This stuff is awesome.

I really love this shave gel! I have never used any shaving product which has left my legs as soft as this has! It is a little bit difficult to figure out where you have shaved as it doesn't foam in the same way that the chemical shaving creams do- but this product is so good I find I can go over an area multiple times to be sure and have no razor burn or dryness because of doing so.
