TLC Hypo-Allergenic is a gentle plant derived 'no tears' cleansing solution for the hair and body that has been formulated for hyper-sensitive skin and is fragrance free. TLC gently cleanses the hair and body without damaging the sensitive balance of natural oils on the skin. It is loaded with hydrating moisturizers to deliver a lasting boost of moisture to dehydrated scalps and skin. This product works great for my eczema-prone kid's skin and hair. I don't find the smell putrid--it's vaguely licorice-y, and not at all like the (to my mind overwhelming) fragrances of many kids' products, admittedly. It does require a good rinse out of the hair, but leaves hair silky, doesn't irritate eyes, and most importantly, my little one doesn't itch or break out after the bath!

This is a very weird product. It has a putrid smell. found this smell common in some natural products but this one has a more pungent odour. It has a strange texture: gluey and it doesn't lather well at all. I had to rub and use the washing clothes for longer time to rinse the product. But with the unpleasant smell, icky texture and extra rubbing it does leave the skin very soft and hydrated. The hair had to be extra rinsed but it was very soft after. The tear free test was passed successfully.
