Enfamil D-Vi-Sol
Vitamin D Supplement 50 ml
The Canadian Paediatric Society and Health Canada agree that breast fed babies should receive a Vitamin D supplement right from birth. Breast milk only contains 10% of the recommended daily intake of Vitamin D.
Even if you are supplementing with formula (100 I.U. per 250mL) your baby still needs 400 I.U. every day.
With one daily dose of D-Vi-Sol, you can make sure your baby gets the right amount of Vitamin D to help build healthy bones and teeth.
Continue using D-Vi-Sol until your baby is one year old or until your baby's diet provides 400 daily I.U. of Vitamin D on its own (as recommended by Health Canada).

I found this product to be too much to give to my 1 month old - the 1 ml was a lot for a young baby. Additionally, this type is FULL of sugar, which is not necessary for babies or young children to have in their vitamins. We have switched to D Drops, and with only one drop of the solution, they get 400 iu. (Plus, there is no sugar added!)

My son actually gagged on this and started foaming at the mouth at 4 days old. I would not recommend this product. I now use the D Drops, simple and safe!

My son cannot get enough of this stuff. If we don't squeeze fast enough, he just sucks it out of the dropper. He's loved it since day 1 that he was born. Great product.

Horrible! Tastes awful with bad aftertaste. I don't know who could get their baby to take a whole dropper full - I sure couldn't though I tried to disguise it in absolutely eveything. I had purchased this in a local drugstore but now I have switched to D-drops which are awesome!
