Enfamil Fer-In-Sol
Iron Supplement 50 ml
Up to the age of 6 months, babies who are exclusively breastfed will receive enough iron from breast milk. For formula fed babies, the Canadian Paediatric Society recommends they be given an iron-fortified formula, like Enfamil A+.
Your doctor may recommend adding Fer-In-Sol to your baby's diet after 6 months to prevent iron deficiency.
Talk to your baby's doctor about using Fer-In-Sol if you think your baby is experiencing an iron deficiency.
Iron supplements should be used as directed by your baby's doctor.

I have been giving Fer-In-Sol to my preemie twin girls ever since they have came home from the hospital (under their doctor's recommendation). We don't use the dropper that is provided, instead we use a syringe that was given to us by the hospital (much easier). Our babies don't seem to mind the taste, so it is easy to give them. We will continue to use this product as long as they need it.
