I used it for 1 year now with the strongest resistance and it works just fine. I cant understand, when its well intalled, to loose grip, the system is build that more you pull, more it grip so....Good product

Maybe you didn't have it tied/knotted well enough? All pull cord brands tell you to knot it thru once -but, - I usually try to do more than that so it doesn't spring loose and hurt me. I'm on your side for-sure tho -as, - pull cords should be made safer for Everyone.

Everlast Resistance stretch tubing is the most pathetically designed piece of workout equipment I have ever used. After 10 minutes, the grip pulled out of the handle while in use, snapped back, and impacted with the top of my foot. Now I have a huge bruise on the top of my foot, and it will be a few days to a week before I'll be able to exercise again. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS ITEM. This should not fall apart after 10 minutes of use.
