FeraMAX 150

FeraMAX150 is a well-tolerated oral iron supplement that contains 150 mg elemental iron per dose. These iron capsules allow for once a day dosing while minimizing the side effects that other oral iron supplements (ferrous salts) may cause. FeraMAX150 avoids or reduces these common oral iron supplement side effects:

• Constipation
• Diarrhea
• Upset Stomach
• Stomach pain

Non-Medicinal Ingredients (Alphabetical order): D&C Red #28, D&C Yellow #10, FDC Blue #1, FDC Red #40, Gelatin, Magnesium Stearate, Microcrystalline Cellulose, and Titanium Dioxide

Adult Dosage: 1 capsule daily, or as directed by a health care practitioner.

Duration of Use: Use for 3-6 months after haemoglobin levels have returned to normal.  Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond this time period. 

Warnings: Keep out of reach of children. There is enough drug in this package to seriously harm a child. Some people may experience gastrointestinal effects.
