Fisherman's Friend lozenges were developed in 1865 to provide relief for North Atlantic fishermen. Still made today in Fleetwood to exactly the same formulation, with no artificial colours or flavourings.

These lozenges taste just disgusting, but they work SO well, it's totally worth it. The taste reminds me of Buckley's cough syrup. My throat is completely numbed, which is great, and the menthol is definitely clearing up my sinuses. And as a bonus, these lozenges aren't filled with sugar, which I am pretty sure just makes a sore throat worse.
