This product is great, perfect for doing hair treatments.

Love it, very absorbent, machine washable and allows me to get other things done without worry of unravelling or falling off, unlike having a towel wrapped around my head. First one lasted over 2 years before the button came out of the fabric.

This is a good alternative for a regular towel. The bamboo is much more gentle on your hair then terry cloth. I use it right after I wash my hair just to absorb the excess water and then wrap my hair up in a tshirt after. It's great for curly girls :)

I also don't really understand the attraction. The towel really doesn't stay once it's on and just rolls up on the sides, despite all my effort to make it tight and in place. I'd honestly rather just use a regular towel.

I bought this as I have always struggled to find towels thin enough to wrap up and then they usually don't stay put...this towel rawks!!! Highly recommend it :)

I don't understand the rave reviews. I have just below the shoulders hair but found this turban was very thin and after using it my hair remains wet, even though the turban is soaked through.

bonnie: more than a year ago

the turban started fraying near the seam after 4 uses.

After all the reviews I am a little dissapointed in this product. I like that it is easier than a towel to keep in your hair but I really do not find that it absorbs much water at all. My hair is only shoulder length and it is almost as wet as when I get out of the shower.

I have 2 and my family uses the ones I bought them as gifts. I think they are 9 out of 10. We have had issues with the buttons. I took the buttons off, removed the fabric, and resewed the buttons on. I would never make these adjustments on other items, but we all like these SO much, I was willing to spend the extra time to ensure the button stays on.
It is still one of our favourite towels.

To Diane: I don't understand how this could just "hang" on your head -- you have to twist the long part around as many times as it comfortable before affixing the loop to the button. I think you might not be adjusting it properly.

(I came back on here to give the bamboo pouff washer a poor review as I had to throw it away, but clicked upon the link to this old turban one.)

I still think this is an excellent product, but the button is starting to come a bit loose and if that falls off, this is next to useless. My advice would be to not put too much tension on the button fastener.

I guess I must have a very small head, it just hangs on my head. Due to other reasons, I will not buy any more bamboo.

This is the best $12 I've spent in a long time. It is easy to use, absorbs water well, and doesn't weigh heavily on my head like a regular towel-turban does. The green colour is quite nice, as well. A fabulous item!

I really like this. I have short hair and put it on "upside down" if you know what I mean, putting the largest part on first at the back of my head, then gathering it at the front and buttoning it... stays on much better. I am putting off washing it, as my hair is clean when I use it, so it doesn't get dirty quickly.

This is an excellent hair towel. It dries my hair extremely fast. I have put it through my washer and dryer many times and it has not been damaged from it.

Katie: more than a year ago

It works really well; keeps my hair up, dries it better then a towel. It was good until I washed it and it started to fall apart. Eventually the button that holds it onto your head fell out. No longer any use to me. Maybe don't put it in the washer.

I find this turban really handy to use when I get out of the shower. I keep it in while I get ready and do my makeup, and I do find that it helps to towel dry my hair better than a regular towel. My only complaint is that it starts to slide down from my forehead a bit after a few minutes. This probably has to do with my head shape, but I wish it would stay on my head a bit better.

Love this! I have long curly hair and I would usually soak up the towel just with my hair before even drying my body. With this I just wrap my wet hair and by the time I am out of the shower and have moisturized I take it off and my hair is the perfect dampness to dry without having to squeeze the water out.
