Although it's less bulky than using a tensor bandage, I found it hard to position this product properly to support my sprained ankle. If it was longer, that would have been better, but you can really only wrap the bandage once around your ankle. It does provide firm support if you can position it properly, but I found myself having to re-position it frequently because it was uncomfortable. A tensor bandage was more comfortable and versatile.
