Eczema is a common skin condition that is characterized by itchy, dry, red, scaly skin. It often starts as a rash on the cheeks, but then can appear just about anywhere on baby's body. Often, eczema is a vicious cycle: the skin is irritated, it itches, your child rubs or scratches it, which makes it more inflamed and itchier. Treating eczema is a three-part plan: Keep baby's skin well moisturized, treat the inflammation, and identify and remove any potential triggers. Babies with eczema need a moisturizer applied several times a day and especially right after a bath to lock in moisture.
Gentle Naturals Baby Eczema Cream is formulated with petrolatum and dimethicone to form a barrier on the skin to prevent moisture loss. It contains aloe vera to help heal irritated skin, and calendula, jojoba oil, apricot oil, and soybean oil to soften and moisturize, plus vitamins A, D, and E to nurture skin and help it heal. You should try washing baby's clothes in a laundry detergent made for sensitive skin. Watch for food triggers in baby's diet (or yours, if you're nursing) and in the environment. Topical prescription medications that are used to treat eczema are not generally recommended for children under two years of age.
Directions:
Apply liberally and massage into baby's skin as often as needed, especially after baby's bath.

Petrolatum, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Mineral Oil (and) Prunus Armeniaca (Apricot) Kernel Oil (and) Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Sorbitan Olivate, Stearyl Alcohol, Dimethicone, dl-alpha Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Glycine Soja (Soybean) Oil (and) Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract (and) Tocopherol, Isopropylparaben (and) Isobutylparaben (and) Butylparaben, Zea Mays (Corn) Oil (and) Retinyl Palmitate (Vitamin A) (and) Cholecalciferol (Vitamin D), Benzalkonium Chloride.
Keep out of reach of children. For external use only. Store at room temperature 59º-86º F (15º-30º C).

All four of my kids have some sort of eczema. This cream was the only cream that seemed to get the job done. It does not reek of scents. The kids actually ask to have it put on. I love it and would recommend it to anyone with this problem (even adults).

My baby's immune system was compromised by the hep B vaccine and developed allergic reaction to milk protein, which resulted in eczema on his face and parts of his body. Sometimes a mother just has to weigh the lesser of two evils so even if it contains parabens, I used this cream to prevent skin dryness and to lessen the itching. We discovered Neocate Baby Formula for milk protein allergic babies and it is helping banish his eczema.

well it might not be good, but for being the ONLY lotion that doesn't stings on my daughter's bad eczema is a bonus!!! I had tried lots of lotions! and is so hard to see her crying after applying the lotion, that I do believe this lotions is rich and gentle enough for such condition such eczema!!!

This is SOOO not good for your baby. Isopropylparaben (and) Isobutylparaben (and) Butylparaben are ingredients in this cream and parabens are known to be dangerous for your health, especially for babies who have thin skin and are sensitive. PLEASE don't be fooled by the "Gentle Naturals" title. This is a dirty, dirty TRICK! There is nothing gentle or natural about this cream.
