This does have to be taken 1-2 hours before to fully work, but if you plan ahead and don't mind - or, indeed, want the extreme sleepiness I at least experience - this can't be beat for nausea and vomiting! Well.ca has a great price on it, too.

I always like to have Gravol on hand to use when it is needed. No one likes to be sick, so this is what I give my family. A few years ago, we went on a cruise and the Gravol went with me. It helped with nausea.
