Grecian Formula 16 Cream
Gradual Grey Coverage 60 g
Looks so natural no one can tell. Works for any color hair.
Restores lost color to gray hair, gradually.
- Natural looking color. Day by day, Grecian® gradually replaces gray with natural-looking color. You can stop anytime and leave a little gray, or keep going until all the gray is gone. And it looks so natural no one can tell you colored your hair ~ they'll just know you look great.
- How Grecian works. Different hair colors are the results of different amounts of melanin, nature's coloring protein. Darker hair simply has more melanin than lighter hair. As melanin production decreases with age, hair turns gray. Grecian has the unique ability to replace lost melanin with a similar-acting pigment. You can regain just the right amount of lost color by applying Grecian for fewer or more days.
- Makes thinning hair thicker, fuller. Grecian contains a hair-thickening ingredient that works by expanding hair's diameter. Plus, it actually repairs and strengthens hair, reducing hair loss from breakage. The result: healthier, thicker-looking hair.
Ingredients: Water, Isopropyl Alcohol, Paraffinum Liquidum, Stearyl Alcohol, Triethanolamine, Bismuth Citrate, Glyceryl Stearate, Sodium Thiosulfate, Ceteareth-20, Fragrance, Panthenol

Used this product religiously for 4 weeks according to directions and saw no difference. Plus my scalp was very dry and itchy because you are only supposed to wash your hair once a week when first using the product. I was using the treatment for just some grey at the temples and one tube of cream would last about a week. So I have used 4 tubes with no effect.

I am TOTALLY grey, and have been for years, and I decided to try this product. I've been using it about a month now, and it is very subtle - I've had people remark that I look "younger", so I would guess it's working...I will use it to just darken my hair to a salt-and-pepper look, not to fully restore my old haircolour...it's been so long, I'm not sure what that is...The cream is easy to apply after showering, and has no virulent odor. And, yes, it does make my hair feel softer...

I find that the liquid is faster, and the cream is better to dab on places like around the ears. I have both. I started to use the cream when I couldn't find the liquid in my local area, now today i noticed store brought in liquid again so I bought two bottles. I have never gone grey, but I am finding now I have to use it alot more than when I first started to use it, but even the hair dressers ask me what I do to keep my hair that colour, lots of people have asked me how i have not gone grey. Cause I think you really do keep your real colour, it doesn't look phony. I don't know how well it works if you have gone grey, but I swear by it. I guess I would be totally grey by now, and salt and peppery in my forties, so I missed that. I think it is the grey that makes people look older and I think the quality of life is not as good when you are treated as if you are old.

I've been using this product for three weeks now, and I'm still on the fence about it. It is very easy to apply the cream (I have very short black hair) and there is no lingering odour. I'm just not sure if it's actually working. I've been applying it daily, but continue to shampoo my hair in the evenings. It's been on my head for at least 12 hours a day for the last two and a half weeks. My white hair is still there, but I think it's less noticeable. It's less "shiny" if that makes any sense. I'm assuming when they say gradual change, they mean REALLY gradual, as in glacial-pace. I'm going to keep using it until the tube is gone. If anything, it makes my hair feel softer.

Started to use it a few weeks ago, and I think I can see a slow change. Cream is easy to apply after you wash your hair.
