I purchased this especially for my feet. Works well. Yes, you have to give it a good rub to get some out of the container.

This balm is hard, you just have to soften it up by rubbing it alot, it works very well to soothe dry skin.

I do not like this product. It is hard and gritty. I had to rub it quite a lot to make it easier to spread - and then it felt awful on my hands. Live and learn I guess. Oh yeah it smells terrible.
