I have to say, I will stick to this product for a long time. I've been on acne treatment, using Benzaclin. I had some pretty bad irritation due to the treatment, my skin is SO dry and itchy and flaky. My eyelids are so dry, they become red and burning. I used Cetaphil moisturizing lotion, and some other brand moisturizer. They just made my irritation worse. I had to wake during the night to wash them off because it was so itchy that i can't fall asleep. After using this cream, my irritation subsides. My eyelids become less dry, become normal in two or three days. No irritation at all. Great product, i carry it in my backpack everyday now

The moisturizer seems to work ... after a while. I always put it on after washing my face and at first it doesn't seem to relieve that dry, itchy feeling. After about five minutes, my skin feels good.
It has that same smell that other Green Beaver products have. Reminds me a lot of the sunscreen smell. It's not unpleasant, just ... strange.
Doesn't irritate skin, though, which is a big plus.

Bought this on a whim for my fiance to try - he has very sensitive, rosacea-prone skin. He never used to use moisturizer and now he can't get enough of this stuff now; he swears by it. He can't believe how smooth and soft his skin is (neither can I!!); the product it is incredibly gentle on skin, and he barely ever gets reddened areas on his face anymore. I was looking for a natural moisturizer after the birth of my baby. My skin is adjusting to hormonal changes and is in a very combination state. I have had very dry skin around my chin and nose from allergies for the last couple of months and other moisturizers were not helping. This product is wonderful and has really made a noticeable difference. It is not at all greasy, and is a good consistency (not too thick and not too thin). I have sensitive skin and have had absolutely no reaction to it. It does have a bit of a scent, but I find it almost unnoticeable and is much better than a perfumed lotion for dry or sensitive skin. Will definitely be sticking to this moisturizer in the future.

Great face lotion, finally something that doesn't make my face look too oily! I have very oily sensitive skin. This is light, and there's no smell to it, so it's a good thing, and keeps my face moisturized. Fragrance lotion is not great for my sensitive skin. I only have to use a teeny bit of it for each section on my face. This hasn't made me break out unlike other face lotions I have tried! Yay!

I really enjoy this cream. It's a light texture and absorbs very well into the skin. I apply it on after using my Thayers Witch Hazel toner. It controls my combination skin well. I also use the Green Beaver facial cleanser. I'm glad to have found these products for my skin because others that I've tried haven't been as effective in keeping my skin moisturized and balanced. This is by far the best moisturizer I've ever used. The Jason Naturals Aloe Vera moisturizer was good, but this one is fantastic. I wake up in the morning after using it and my skin is radiant and glowing. It absorbs well, feels light and refreshing, and it's all natural!!

Most moisturizers are too greasy for my combination skin, making it look shiny in the t-zone, and causing acne breakouts. My skin is also very sensitive to chemicals and perfumes, which is why I have been looking for something all natural. Well, this moisturizer is wonderful! I have been using it for four weeks now and I haven't had a single breakout! It moisturizes my skin just right- my oily t-zone is not too greasy and my drier cheeks feel soft and smooth. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because of the unpleasant scent (though it does fade quickly). I also imagine that it wouldn't be moisturizing enough for people with very dry skin. But for me, it's just right. Also, it is a Canadian brand. Highly recommended!

I really like this product. It doesn't go on oily or cause me to have acne (which happens to me often with facial moisturizer). The price is reasonable and the odor is not unpleasant. It smells a bit like tea (as you'd expect), but the smell doesn't linger and it certainly is not a strong, offensive odor. I put a bit on in the morning and some before bed and my skin no longer feels dried out. I only wish it came in a larger quantity because the small tube doesn't last long even though I only put on a small amount at a time.

I have been buying natural products for years and usually use a much heavier neem oil cream for winter. I have found that this product is not as heavy as that cream, but I am very happy with it for summer. I must also say that I was very impressed with my ordering experience from well.ca. I really love this moisturizer. It makes my skin super soft and has a lovely semi-matte finish as it absorbs. My skin is very acne prone and sensitive so it doesn't keep away my acne on it's own but along with a treatment it keeps my skin hydrated and clear.

I bought this for my aunt (who has oily skin) as a nighttime moisturizer because I was unimpressed with the not-so-nice ingredients in the stuff she was currently using. She explicitly told me not to get anything ridiculously expensive. She says that, apart from it being a tad on the thick side, it does the job without making her face feel greasy. She would prefer if this was in a jar instead but otherwise has no complaints.

This moisturiser is great because the formulation is very healthy for you. Your skin ends up absorbing up to 85% of it and it will end up in your bloodstream so you really need to think about what you put on your face. It moisturises very well, if you find that your skin feels tight, you need to use more. I use more on my dryer areas and less on the t-zone. It's a fantastic eye cream as well.

I started using this stuff after my $45 bottle of 'hypoallergenic' face moisturizer was making me break out. No matter what I used it would leave a rash on my face and neck. I found out that the chemicals in my products were doing much more damage than I had realized. As soon as I purchased and started using this my face cleared right up. It's not greasy and you don't need very much, which makes it last FOREVER! I recommend it to anyone with sensitive skin!

This moisturizer is exactly right for me - light and gentle, but it absolutely does the trick, even in winter. Having said that, I think this would be an ideal summer moisturizer for those who switch to something lighter when the weather gets warm - it's light, non-oily, and finishes with a matte texture on your skin. For the most part, I like this product, even though my face seems to go through a few stages after I apply it. At first, it feels pretty dry and tight, but then it seems to somehow relax and "settle in" (yes, I am aware of how strange this sounds!). I thought this would be a safe bet for my sensitive skin, but as soon as I applied it my face started to burn and my colour rivalled that of a lobster. I immediately washed it off, took some allergy medication, and suffered for the rest of the night with the unbearable heat in my face.

I use proactive and their moisturisers cost way too much and werent moisturizing very well. Tried green beaver and its great! No chemicals, took some rubbing in but as soon as it absorbed my skin felt so soft and smooth, and it stays that way all day. Im going to try the cleanser and scrub, costs waaay less and i bet will do wondrs for my acne prone skin.

This moisturizer is OK, not as great as I expected it to be, given that I have been quite happy with other Green Beaver products. I find that it absorbs quickly, but my skin still feels a dry. This could be because it's been very cold and dry here lately, but I'm not sure I would order this again.

I have "normal" skin, prone to breakouts on my chin, but not too dry, nor too oily. I find this product completely scent-free and it feels really natural. The product goes on smoothly (no oil separation when you squirt it out, as with some natural face moisturizers) and a little goes a long way, so good value. I have a bit of a rash on the one side of my face now and this cream doesn't irritate it at all. Great value for money, and a nice Canadian product.

I recently bought this moisturizer to try as an experiment. I usually use expensive, sensitive-skin products like Biotherm and Dermalogica. Both of my moisturizers were no longer doing the job, so I thought I would try this out based on reviews on here. It's been two weeks and it's AMAZING!
I have very dry, sensitive skin, but sometimes my forehead gets slightly oily. This cream seems to balance that out and gives me enough moisture for the whole day. I love that it's all natural, Canadian and pretty much scentless. It makes my skin very soft, and so far, the results since I switched moisturizers are better than expected.

My Mom feels encouraged to use it after my recommendation because she feels that her skin glows like the surface of an egg shell after application. So do I.
I've been using it twice every day, 4-5 days a week, for a month already. However, tiny flakes appear after I wash my face with warm water and a towel during shower. I'm not sure whether this is the effect of the moisturizer.

Love, love, love this moisturizer! I use it in the morning and evening and it works so well. It has a light mild scent and absorbs quickly, a little goes a long way. Will definitely be purchasing it again. Would recommend to anyone!

Great clean moisturizer! Easily absorbed, not too heavy, doesn't cause any breakouts, and brightens skin, it must be the green tea or antioxidants. I love this stuff. Its light enough that when I'm dry I wear it under my tinted moisturizer. And its a canadian product which makes it even better to buy! great price, you get a lot for the price. I was paying way more for a smaller container for a moisturizer that wasn't as good or as "clean" as this one. Will definitely buy again.

I love Green Beaver products and I wish I could agree with most of you about this moisturizer. Unfortunately, it caused breakouts after only a couple of days of use. I use the other four facial products from Green Beaver and they are perfect for my sensitive and oily skin. But as for this one... it just doesn't work for me.

it's just the right amount of moisture for my skin and it's great to use under makeup. My old moisturizer used to give me a matte finish but then my skin would get oily within a few hours. With this one, my skin stays matte till the end of the day. I have acne prone skin and this moisturizer did not cause break outs, it smells a little funny but overall, a great product

This is a nice natural product, feels pretty light and absorbs very fast. I live in a very dry climate and found that I needed to reapply sometimes as it absorbs so quickly, my face felt a bit tight but with a reapplication it did the job pretty good. Great value and awesome that it's a Canadian product that is natural. Would reccommend.

i really like this moisturizer. i have dry/combination skin, with the dry parts being worse in winter, and this product addressed both concerns really well. i didn't find any problems with oiliness in my t-zone, and it wasn't heavy anywhere else.
now, if they could somehow add suncreen to it, i'd give it 5 stars! ;)

I have combination skin and like to alternate my face creams and this is one that I can apply my make-up directly after applying the cream... totaly non greassy although it takes verry little, a drop more your left with a small film you have to rub in or out... especially love it for summer time and the time of the month when our skin goes on a rampage.... you know when I'm talking abour! :)

Just gave this moisturizer a go and its not bad. While one person mentioned there are 5 oils, its actually unnoticeable. Infact, I feel that it could be MORE moisterizing.
I do enjoy that it's all natural, I haven't had any irritations yet, and it didnt give my face a shiney look, it's pretty matte.
Some people have mentioned the smell is nice, but its fragrance free. It has that smell most things do that are fragrance free, more like stale water or something.
Overall it's a good moisturizer, doesnt make your face shiney, its natural, and isnt too pricey.

So far, I really like this product. I have an oily T-zone so find many other moisturizers leave me looking even more oily than I started. The Green Beaver moisturizer goes on smooth and dries in nicely, so I don't feel or look greasy. A little goes a long way! And it smells great too. I love that it's a natural product!

Excellent product, very moisturizing, leaves skin feeling soft and smooth, and, on the plus side, it's as natural as natural gets! I generally use the moisturizer after shaving to soothe irritation or whenever I notice any dry skin. A little goes a long way and I find that because of that the tube lasts a long while. Definitely my favourite Green Beaver product.

This is the first facial cream that does not make my skin break out, and I have had acne-prone skin for a really long time. It is not too thick and leaves my skin smooth, and not oily. I have been using this since I first discovered Green Beaver a couple years ago. Their entire line of facial products are amazing!

I love that Green Beaver's products are all natural and organic... and Canadian, but with my oily skin this was just way too heavy with oil for my skin. Out of the top 12 ingredients 5 are oil, and ingredient 13 is wax. Could be good for those who need alot of moisture but if you are oily and acne prone you may want to take a pass on this one. Would be great if they came up with an oil free moisturizer.

I was disappointed to find that the moisturizer is not a lotion in a bottle but rather cream in a tube. The picture on the website shows a box, which conveys liquid contents, not a tube. This box had been flattened to make more room in my parcel.
No odour to the product, and it did blend in smoothly on my face. No greasy feeling or shine.

I have been using the Green Beaver Green Tea Facial Moisturizer for about three weeks. I have oily/dry skin with minor acne.

The cream is not oily nor does it feel greasy.

I bought this a few weeks ago as i always use the tea tree oil creams and I really like them. I wanted to try something all natural and for my first time I would say its been an ok experience. It is light, non- greasy but I do find the next morning my face feels rather oily. My makeup also does go on that smoothly on top of the cream. I have been using this lotion for a year now - I use it on my face, and this summer I started using it as an all-over body moisturizer because it is so light and non-greasy, lighter than my winter body lotions. BUT I also recently discovered that it is a FABULOUS treatment for sunburn! I am normally very diligent about sun protection but forgot to reapply to my shoulders when I got out of the water, and ended up with a burn. I put this lotion in the fridge - it cooled the burn, and it healed quickly and hardly peeled at all. Great product, I will use it forever.

This is a very good basic, natural moisturizer for those with sensitive skin. I do like that it has a light texture, but I am a little dissapointed there is no mention of SPF or natural sunblock additives in it. Everyone, even people with sensitive skin should use some kinda sun protection in my opinion.

Using this moisturizer, right after using the Green Beaver Facial Cleanser has left my skin very soft, not greasy and moisturized. So far so good. From what I have used so far it lives up to my expectations. It's natural, oil based, and fragrance free (so it smells a bit of oil). It absorbs very quickly without feeling greasy and leaves my skin feeling smooth without residue. I have mostly dry skin but am prone to getting clogged pores and breakouts in some areas and yet it works irrelivent of where on my face I use it - No irritation.It is a bit pricey, but a little does go quite a ways.
I would recommend trying for any skin type and aboslutely if you want something with more natural ingredients.

I bought this product several weeks ago and was very pleasantly surprised. I am prone to blemished skin, and many 'natural' products have only caused further breakouts after I used them. I used to apply Burt's Bees products, but found that I would have breakouts more often. I agree with Kerry - this product has a great rating on the Cosmetic Safety Database compared to many others, has natural ingredients, is non-greasy, and is very gentle but effective. Will definately be buying a replacement after I run out of this one.

I was looking for a face cream that met the following requirements:
1) As few chemical ingredients as possible.
2) Formulated for dry/sensitive skin.
3) Good user reviews and a low (good) rating on the Cosmetic Safety Database.
4) An affordable price.
and, most importantly,
5) Something that works well on my skin — not too light or too greasy, doesn't cause breakouts or sting/cause rashes and dry spots.
This product delivered really well on almost every criterion! The only way it falls a bit short for me is that it's pretty light and I will need something heavier and more moisturizing for the winter. So, consider my rating to be a solid 4.5.

I absolutely LOVE this moisterizer!! It's hands down one of the best moisterizers I've ever used. It's smooth and easy to blend in, doesn't feel thick/cakey on my face and it's perfect for sensitive skin. My mom had bad exema on her hands her whole life and when she put only a dab of this on her hands they were almost healed the next day. I also noticed that the skin on my face is also starting to look younger and clearer. You only need to use a very little amount of product so it should last quite awhile. Totally worth every penny.

I have always had trouble with acne; my skin is very dry on my cheeks but oily on my forehead and nose. I found this product goes on light and not oily but really moisurizes well so that my skin doesn't overcompensate with oil production and break out. I love this lotion so much. My skin is dry but very prone to acne, and until now I have only been able to use Vichy thermal light, which costs $30 a pop. Now I've found this cream and it's perfect! It's very moisturizing, but not too heavy. I don't know about the comments about not absorbing easily...they must be putting way too much on. A little goes a long way, and it's so affordable! Also, the scent is very faint but very nice.

LOVE this face cream. I am so sensitive, and have a really hard time finding a cream that doesn't make me break out, but also gives me enough moisture. I've been using $30 Vichy Aqualia Thermal light for years now because that was the only thing that didn't aggravate my skin, but it's so expensive and it's full of parabens and other scary chemicals, so I'm SO happy to have found this face lotion! Not for acne-prone skin. I love Green beaver products, especially their cleanser, but this is definitely not for people prone to breakouts. Their description is misleading.
If you are prone to breakouts, just look at the ingredients and think for a moment before you apply this. How many oils do you see in there? Even if they are non-comedogenic, it will clog pores.

This is the only face cream I've ever used that hasn't complicated my skin. It's been great on my moderate acne, as well as a treatment for stress-related dryness and red-patches. It's free of a lot of the chemicals in other products which irritate sensitive skin, and only smells slightly of aloe. What's not to love? I like this cream a lot. I have tried many other face creams and they are either too greasy or after a half hour you face feels dry again. This does not, it lasts. It is not greasy at all. It leaves your face very smooth and soft. It also does not have a fragrance for those who are allergic to fragrances in creams. Finally I found a good face cream.

This is wonderful! I have been using it for this winter and my skin's texture has been improved greatly, it's much more supple and smooth now. But it does not minimize the big pores around the nose caused by Biore nose strips (the nose strips are my deep regrets, it has dried up the skin patches around my nose, and englarged my pores that dirts get in so easily, which a normal cleanser cannot get rid of it). Afterall, the moisturizer has made my skin more radiant and youthful looking!
It has no scent, and some people maybe be pleased with it.
