It has a decent taste. Since I add water to it and not breastmilk, my little one did not like it as much as Nestle, which is more like creamy but I started adding fruit to it and now I cannot bring the spoon to him fast enough. I like that it is organic and the list of ingredients is not pages long.

I have tried all of the Healthy Times cereals and they're all great but this one is my son's favourite. They mix so nicely with water, formular or breastmilk and I usually even add some pureed pear or apple so he likes it even more!

I started my daughter on this cereal just this week, after previously feeding her the oatmeal of the same brand. I could not believe it when she started to devour it faster than the oatmeal! With all of my daughter's allergies, I am truly grateful that there are quality, great tasting products like the healthy timez line. I just add some banana to the barley and away we go! You must try this product, you are sure to have a winner!

Love this cereal. I use it and the oatmeal version for my seven month old. They are wonderful, and he loves it! I either serve it on its own or mix it with veggies or fruit! Just make sure to add enough water I find, as with any food, or it may cause constipation.

Our 8.5 month old baby really likes this cereal mixed with fruit, or even with egg yolk. I really like the fact that it doesn't have sugar in it, unlike many other cereals on the market. It's useable with savoury meals, not only as a breakfast food.

I had a very hard time finding this product in the local grocery stores (I could find the oatmeal, the brown rice and the mixed grain...just not the barley). My son loves it and you can't beat the service from well.ca (I love how the price includes shipping to my door). Our baby has milk-allergies and still too young to try wheat and multi-grain products. Our pediatrician recommended Healthy Times Brown Rice as a starter and then we started on Healthy Times Barley. In our opinion, this is the best baby cereal out there. It has no added sugar and our baby devours it every time. Virtually every other baby cereal has unwanted added sugars that will surely contribute to getting babies addicted to sweets very early on. It's well priced and convenient.

Rice cereal was making my son too constipated, and my son has a milk allergy so I was happy to find this cereal as I am reassured there is no milk product in it, most other cereals say they "may contain milk" AND--he loves it!
