4g of sugar in 3/4 of a cup is negligible, in my opinion. These are very hard, but don't seem to present a problem at all to my 1 yr old son who loves them (he has some teeth). My 4 yr old daughter likes them too. They don't taste sweet, but the little teddy faces are adorable. They don't break easily either, so don't make as much of a mess as cheerios. Really happy with them. Definitely buying more.
My 3.5 y.o. son has loved this since babyhood. Will still eat it as snack/cereal when offered. Getting ready to give it to babies again - I know they will love playing with it and eating it.
tastes like honey combs cereal, but not as sweet, not a puff though; a bit hard but good in milk
My daughter (1 year old) really likes these. They get soggy quickly which is fine, but they are not so hard that she can have them without milk as well.
Yes, this cereal is a little hard, but wet it and it softens right up. The problem I have with it is that I expected better from 'Healthy Times.' I didn't expect to have sugar in the cereal (slightly more than Cheerios!) and I did expect, for some reason, for this cereal to be fortified in iron (which it isn't) so I was very disappointed. I would have liked a list of ingredients and nutritional information on at least the Healthy Times website or perhaps here. Next time I'll ask before ordering. Oh well, more cereal for me : )
I was having a hard time finding my 15 month old son stuff to eat for breakfast as he would only eat rice cereal. I bought these in hopes he would eat them. He LOVES them! Great breakfast cereal!!!
My daughter has been eating these since she was 6 months no problem and really enjoy these. Agree with the other reviewer that these are not "puffs" they are very hard. It just depends on the child/infants comfort level with food textures.
Not really "puffs," more like cereal. Will need to wait until my little one is a little older before she can have these.
As of 9 months my daughter ate them dry, now at 14 months she loves them dry or as a bowl of cereal, very pratical snack, we love it
My 1.5 yr old loves these as finger food and recently as cereal with milk. A bit pricey for how much you get but otherwise great!
Too hard for my 9.5 month old. I guess that is why it says for toddlers though, eh?
Too hard for my 8 month old, I'll feed them to her when she's much older. I ate them instead! :)
Bought these for my 9mth old son, but they were too large and hard for him. Tastes great .. I'll definitely buy again when he is older.
These puffs are too hard for my 10-month-old... But they taste so good that I finished the box myself:)
