I have avoided many colds, sore throats by dissolving these losenges in my throat.
For them to be effective, take them every 1/2 hr.and at the immediate onset of minor symptoms. The earlier you start the better your chances are of not getting sick. As a matter of fact take them also when you are in large crowds or when there are sick people around you.

The absolute best throat losenge I have ever used. I live by the sometimes damp/cold East coast of Nova Scotia. I have tried every losenge drugstores carry. They were useless compared to Herbon. I have been exclusively buying Herbon losenges for 5 years, now. Other people I offered them to, were very impressed.

We love this product, in particular this flavour. We use it for sore throats, allergies and it is great to take while travelling. While in Europe I gave one of these lozenges to a woman who was coughing. It immediately stopped Her cough. She was from the USA and asked me for the info about the product. I always have these lozenges in my purse as well as the sucker-pop version for our Granddaughter. We have tried many different products through the years and truthfully have never found one that works and soothes your throat as good as the Herbon product.
