Organic fine whole wheat bulgar is the same as cracked wheat except it cooks faster. It has been par boiled, dried and cracked. Enjoy this nutty taste as an ingredient in tabouli salad, pilaf, soups, baked goods, stuffing or casseroles. You can also use bulgar in recipes calling for converted rice (and it’s more nutritious than rice) It is an ideal food in a vegetarian diet because of its nutritional value and versatility. This is the first time trying wheat bulgar and I am so glad that I tried it. If you like quinoa, give this a try. It's wholesome and tastes great.
This is my first experience with Wheat Bulgar. I was looking for pasta and rice substitutes and bulgar seemed like something I should try. It takes much less of the cooked product to fill you up. Its keeps you fuller longer than rice or pasta therefore you eat less. And bonus is that it has protein and less net carbs!!
Its very versatile to and makes a quick and easy meal.
