Although many products on the market contain a small amount of alcohol to solubilize and preserve the essential oils of the active ingredients, we recognize that some parents would prefer not to administer any preparation containing alcohol to their infants. For them, we have developed Alcohol-Free KOLIK Gripe Water.
In this formulation, only purified water is used to extract the anti-gas and stomach-calming properties of natural source fennel oil, from fennel seed. Fennel has been a reliable remedy for centuries, as it helps relieve stomach pains and cramps due to gas.
Medicinal ingredients per teaspoon (5 mL): Foeniculum vulgaris, Oil of Fennel (botanical) 2.5 mg, Sodium bicarbonate (mineral) 50.0 mg.
Non-medicinal ingredients: Sodium Benzoate, Glycerin, Sorbitol, Sucrose, Polysorbate 80, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Propylene Glycol, Water.

This worked when my children were babies, and they still ask for it at 8 and 11 (although they would not admit it!) It really works for upset tummies, and I like the natural ingredients and no alcohol.

The product is great. Baby loves the taste, and it is proven to help rid hiccups and upset stomach. I haven't used it for teething pain yet but was told that too works great. The price is a little high compared to local stores.
