This item doesn't fit a standard block of butter! I guess I'll just flip it over and use it as a regular storage container :( It would have been nice if that was mentioned in the listing. I wonder if butter in the USA is shaped differently?

I was disappointed. It didn't fit a block of butter even without the tray. It has become another storage container.
