McCormick Gourmet Fennel Seed

F​ennel Seed, with its slight licorice flavor, comes from India and has been used for centuries. Called the "meetin' seed" by the Puritans, it was nibbled at church services.

Toast and coarsely crush 1-2 tablespoons for use in marinade or spice rub for chicken, fish, roasted pork and lamb. Use to flavor shell fish, fish and fish sauces. Add to bread, spaghetti sauce, beef, lamb, pork, salads, pickles, pastries, cookies, rolls and cheese spreads.
