Breakthrough MicroClear technology is clinically proven to boost the delivery of acne medicine, unclogging congested pores and speeding treatment deep and fast to the source where breakouts begin. What's more, naturally derived skin-soothers, green tea and cucumber, help reduce redness and irritation, leaving skin looking and feeling soft and stress free.
- MicroClear technology
- Non-comedogenic (won't clog pores)
How to use:
Cleanse the skin thoroughly before applying medication. Cover the entire affected area with a thin layer one to three times daily. Because excessive drying of the skin may occur, start with one application daily, then gradually increase to two or three times daily if needed or as directed by a doctor. If bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day.

I bought this originally because it was highly rated in Paula Begoun's beautypedia, and I'm glad I did. I use it twice a day: in the morning I follow it up with Glaxal Base moisturizer, and at night I follow it with a 2.5 BP product, and then with Weleda Skin Food as a moisturizer.
Though the really big difference for me for keeping clear skin, is not eating dairy.

The best product containing salycilic acid on the market that is not a wash. A gentle treatment for when vitamin-a acids are too much. Try this if benzoyl peroxide products do not work for you. I have pale, sensitive skin with pores that tend to clog. I sometimes put on a light, non-oily moisturizer on after this dries during winter or when it is less humid.

I have very sensitive skin(pale, glow in the dark redhead) and oily/acne prone skin to make it worse. I've used a Ton of products and this doesn't work 100% on it's own but with a gental face wash, toner and the 8 hr spot treatment that goes with it I'm finally able to at least get my skin under control. I find that if I run out and still use my other products my skin will start to break out a bit more. It does help with getting rid of pimples and in preventing them but it doesn't take the redness away, that still takes a few days... but that could just be because I'm pale.
I use it at night and by morning I do have some flaking skin but just my morning face wash takes care of that and it doesn't come back during the day.
I also like that it goes on clear and doesn't leave my skin tight like some products that seem more like a face mask.

I agree with Justina - best product on the market. I have oily, acne-prone skin and eczema also. This helps keep my skin clear and it does not irritate my skin. I have been using it (and the old Neutrogena night treatment) for I would say 10 years. LOVE IT!!!

I've used this product for a long time now, and I find it very effective and gentle on my skin. This is the best product I have ever used.

Horrible product. Yes, it may burn up all your acne but it will definitely kill your skin at the same time. It's not best if you have sensitive skin or your skin weakened through time. It doesn't leave your skin oily, that's true, but it will make your skin flake off and make it look like it's completely dry and irritated. Don't use this if your skin's not too tolerant.
