As you inhale or puff through the mouthpiece, nicotine turns into a vapour and is absorbed through the lining of your mouth and throat, but does not enter your lungs.
The dosing system of Nicorette Inhaler is flexible. The less you draw on the mouthpiece of your Inhaler, the longer the nicotine content of each cartridge will last.
For the first 3 to 12 weeks of treatment, you should use at least 6 but no more than 12 cartridges per day. As your body adjusts to not smoking, you can either stop using the Inhaler altogether, or slowly reduce the number of cartridges you use each day over the next 6 to 12 weeks.

This is a fantastic product. I quit smoking two years ago this month after having smoked a pack a day for 29 years! For the first few months I used the inhaler daily but only used two or three cartridges. Now I go months at a time without even thinking about smoking. If I'm in a social situation where others are smoking, or if I'm under a lot of stress, it is reassuring to know that the inhaler is in my purse, should I need it. This is the one and only stop smoking aid that worked for me!

This product allows you to stay in control of the withdrawal symtoms painlessly, s well as the hand to mouth fixation. Have never had to exceed 2 cartridges in a day. This product helped me quit, patches and gums didn't work. The problem is that I used it in the hospital, when I was released I found that the price in US is extremely high. The tobacco lobbyists here don't like how well this product works for people, so the govt won't clear it for OTC use. Can this site ship to US?

I have used this produce for almost three weeks now and have gone through 8 capsules. I have smoked for over 17 years and the hand motion was the biggest thing for me to get over, I notice now that sometimes I do not even the nicotine to be in the inhaler, just going through the motion.

This is the best stop-smoking aid available. The delivery system allows you to regulate the amount of nicotine you take in, as opposed to a patch, which can easily lead to nicotine sickness should slight pressure be applied. I recommend this product to all my friends who wish to give up the habit. This product is wonderful, and, it should be over the counter in the USA. Thank goodness it is in Canada.

This looks a lot like a tampon applicator, and it's not something I would use in public, but it really does work, I have been using it for one week and haven't had a single "nic-fit", or bitten anyone's head off. I was smoking 1/2 pack a day,and only use one cartridge a day, so I would definitely say it is worth the money and makes quitting a lot easier.

I have been smoking for over 30 years and have tried to quit a few times before, using the nicotine patch. I have to say that this is the first time that I really honestly don't want to smoke anymore, and using the inhaler is a fantastic way to quit. I think I am more addicted to the physical act of smoking, which is why this device works so well for me as opposed to the patch. the blast of nicotine is very satisfying, and I am in complete control of when I have it. I really recommend trying it out if you want to quit.

If you want to quit smoking I honestly think you should try this first! I quit smoking almost 7 months ago and this is the only aid I used... it especially helps with the "have to have something in your hand" as well as it tastes pretty similar to a cigarette! I only required 1 cartridge/day compared to their suggestion of 6/day. I didn't even use a full box before not needing anything at all. Give it a shot! You won't be disappointed! Good luck ;)
