Been using this for years for disabled family member between weekly showers. Works very well if used exactly as directed: Apply generously (in sections) and lather well, then dry vigourously with a clean towel until hair is *dry* & fluffy. (If you leave hair damp, oil & soap remains so hair will feel sticky. Also works best w/ short hair as long hair harder to towel-dry completely.) Highly recommend.

I used this product when i went moose hunting. It made my hair feel really awful. It made the texture of my hair feel as if my hair was fake. Then when i was able to wash it normally, the water was brown. Oh it was just awful.

I used to by more expensive products like this from camping stores, but recently found this one and couldn't believe the price. Great deal. If you follow the directions properly it will remove the oil and dirt from your hair. It does not leave your hair oily. It does not work as if you just shampooed your hair, but it does get most of the oil out and your hair looks fine. It is meant for camping/hiking and situations where you can't shampoo with water.
I wouldn't use it in your bathroom as a regular shampoo.

I have the kind of hair that within about 18 hours of washing, it's already greasy. I tried this shampoo when my hair was greasy and it made it worse.. My hair felt disgusting and looked like I hadn't showered in weeks!! I wouldn't recommend this product if you have naturally more greasy hair!
