Used in Herbal Medicine to help relieve premenstrual symptoms, symptoms associated with menopause (e.g. hot flushes) and as a hormone normaliser to help stabilise menstrual cycle irregularities.

Chaste Tree Berry (Vitex) has been used for centuries as a traditional herbal medicine to treat numerous gynecologic conditions. There is also clinical evidence that chaste berry is effective at reducing many symptoms of PMS, such as irritability, mood alteration, anger, headaches, bloating/water retention and breast fullness, although the duration of PMS remains unchanged. Symptomatic relief is believed to be caused by Vitex’s anti-inflammatory and weak analgesic effects. It has been reported that there is no change in the efficacy of chaste tree berries in individuals using oral contraceptives.

Ideal for women experiencing negative symptoms of PMS or menopause.

Ingredients (each capsule contains):
Chaste Tree (Vitex agnus castus L.) Fruit Extract……………100 mg
(Standardized to contain 0.5% Agnusides)
(equivalent to 1500 mg of fresh fruit)
Chaste Tree (Vitex agnus castus L.) Berry Powder……………350 mg

Non-Medicinal Ingredients: Capsule (gelatin, water, silica).

Directions: Adult Dosage: Take 1 capsule daily with water. Use for a minimum of
