I like this type of cup for my daughter because it doesn't have a straw inside that I always find a pain to clean. It is easy for her to hold and it doesn't spill. The only downside is she has to tip it back quite a bit to suck the fluids out.

I've tried lots of different cups for my 11 month old and this one is the best. Great grip, no handles (so it promotes development) and it really is spill proof. It gets thrown around the house and never spills. Also; I find with other cups, my baby will choke because the liquid release is too fast. This one is just right and she never chokes. I definitely buying more to have on hand!!
