I was really excited to try this polish as I hate doing my nails before bed and then having to lie in bed making sure I don't move my hands, only to find out in the morning that I smudged them. I bought the clear polish and think this stuff is horrible. Yes, it dries fast but it peels right off. I applied at night time, it dried within a few minutes but the next morning I noticed a few chunks had already peeled off. It's now been less than 24 hours and it is ALL peeled off. It didn't even last a whole day! What a waste. Glad I didn't pay too much for this product!

For the low price, I wasn't expecting much. To my surprise, the color is amazing, the hold it great and it drys super quick! my favorite nail polish now :) I got the navy blue New york in a minute

This is a great deal for the price. The colour is vibrant and it dries quickly. No complaint on it wearing quickly as I don't pick at my polish and I like to change up the colour every week or so anyway. I like this for my toes as it gets less wear and tear than for fingers.

I really wanted to like this polish; it's inexpensive, dries amazingly fast and the colour selection is good. But the wear is terrible! You can scratch this off with your nail.I wish I could post a picture of my nails just 5 hours after a manicure. Every single nail is chipped or worn; even the pinkies!
This is a total waste of money. If you're thinking of trying this, toss a toonie and a loonie out the window. At least that way you'll still be saving time

Awesome nail polish! I got this in Midtown and two other colours I don't see above, a rich wine colour and a deep midnight blue, and all the shades were fantastic! Dries quickly and lasts at least a week without chipping if you use a base and top coat.

This nail polish is ok for the price. I love the colours, but watch out when ordering, the colours on the site appear different and some are mixed up. My nails chip after 2 days. Won't be buying again.

Google search to see what the colour of the polish is actually like. Does dry quite quickly, but I found it chips quite quickly if you do not use a top coat. Great product for the price, though.

Colours shown do not reflect the colour of the polish, do what I did and google image search colours you like to see how they look on nails. Colour goes on quite sheer but rich after a second coat. Easy to apply and dries really fast. Chipping not too bad with a top coat, but for how quickly it dries and for how inexpensive it is, I don't mind touching up more frequently.

i really liked this polish! Got the Bowery Black and the colour was true to sample. With a toddler and 5 month old I usually have to do my nails once everyone is asleep but applied it during the day and was pleasantly surprised at how quickly it dried.

I usually use 'A England,' OPI and Chanel; tried this on a whim after reading good reviews online. This was quite a major surprise! Got "Lincoln Center" and applied it with both base and top coats as usual. This was several days ago and not one sign of chipping, despite all the work I'd been doing with my hands over the weekend. Easy application - although I found I needed three coats rather than the usual two - which isn't a problem as it dries so, so quickly. I'm really impressed!

Peels too quickly, as in within 24 hours! Really not worth the trouble. Does go on well; however, but zero staying power. Would never buy NYC nail polishes again. Have tried 3 different colours-same result. Save your money and buy another brand.

Cheap yes, cheap product yes. Absolutely can see the poor quality of this product on the nails. Poor color, and chips easily. On the other hand it does dry rather quickly.

Great polish. It dries quickly and the sparkle colors are easy to remove, unlike other sparkle polishes. Thin even coats, applied about ten minutes apart, then plunge nails into cold water and you get a good week from this nail poilsh.

Great price, colours a little different than what's represented. I got Mulberry St. which is pretty close to the colour shown (a little lighter) and Tribeca Silver, which has a sparkle to it, and Park Ave which is A LOT darker than shown. I would suggest going to NYC's website to get a better judgement of the actual colours.
Texture is also pretty watery compared to what I'm used to in a nail polish.

Colour wasn't what I was expecting, I got Madison Avenue, much brighter than it appears here but still nice colour. The nail polish does dry quickly, but doesn't stay on for that long.

The teal was way too watery, and the other colour I got didn't look the same as it said it would. I did not find the brushes helpful in "dispensing just the right amount of color for perfect application" as they say.
I Definitely prefer my Insta-Dri Fast Dry Nail Colour By Sally Hansen because they are thicker and dry just as fast and they have a better brush to apply.

Dries super fast - great if you hate sitting around waiting for polish to dry like I do. Colour is reasonably dense although I do find it smells pretty strong. Holds up better with a nice clear top coat.

Very good product, considering the price. To obtain opaque coverage, you'll need to apply two or three coats, but this dries quite quickly, so it is not a problem. Lasts about as long as any other nail polish I've ever tried.

The color I ordered (teal) is gorgeous, but the polish is way too liquid and is really hard to apply. You will have to put on at least three very thin layers for an interesting result. I'm very disapointed in this product...

great color nail polish came all securely packaged until my teenager daughter came along all excited ripped the packaging off letting the nail polish hit the ceramic floor and cracked the bottle thank goodness it didnt spaltter everywhere but like i said it sure was a pretty color,never did get to paint our nails

Great price for what you get:) It can go on fairly thickly at first and dries fast enough that I can run out the door quickly. I only use it for toenails and so far it is lasts well after 2 coats, I like this nail polish enough that I will give another colour a try.

Dry's fast, and unlike lots of quick dry stuff, it is really shiny and sparkly, which I love! It doesnt stay on as long as I would like, but if you use a normal top coat it's wear life is a lot longer!

The first nyc nail polish(greenwich village) I bought was good, very pigmented, nice application; but I just recently purchased East village and I am very disappointed! Very sheer, needs atleast 4 coats, dries relatively fast but that's the only good thing about this recent purchase, I won't be buying nail polish again from nyc, it's too hit and miss.

NYC Nail Polish in Lincoln Center was a terrific purchase. It looked so dark in the bottle that when it arrived I wasn't sure I would like it, but is a lovely burgundy. It goes on nice and smooth, great colour, and drys VERY quickly compared to others. A purchase that I will be sure to repeat.

I really like this nail polish. I already have a lot of polishes but since this brand was so cheap I decided to try it out and boy was I surprised with the quality! It goes on smooth, dries quickly and I have more on the way now! I even sent it to my best friend as part of her birthday gift! Only wish there were more colors available here!

This is a great nail polish for the price. I bought Chinatown, which is a nice, dark purple colour. I used it on my toes and it lasted a good two weeks before I needed to touch it up. I thought it went on nicely too. Well worth the money!

You will definitely get what you pay for here. Since the polish is inexpensive, it will bubble and chip easily. I ordered Canal Street thinking that it was going to be a matte brown, but it ended up being sparkly, but it is a pretty color. These polishes are fun to play around with without making a huge investment.

Great formula and the brush is the perfect size for my nails. This is like a smaller (in size) and cheaper alternative for OPI. I love the Manhattan shade! It's a beautiful deep, rich wine colour, perfect with 2 coats.

I'm really impressed by this polish especially for the price. I have it in "Uptown", it a very slightly frosted pink (like a Barbie pink). I don't think it dries any faster than a lot of other polishes but with a good topcoat mine stayed for nearly a week. I would buy this again for sure!

I picked Central Park and I love it! It goes on smoothly and doesn't streak. One thing is that the color shown in the pic can be quite different from the real thing. The pic shows a mauve-ish color, but in real life it is orangey. Still a pretty color though. it is quite dry as stated.

I love this product. I got mine in the mail today and it was better than I expected. I picked "Mulberry". NYC is a cheap brand, and is so worth getting. I would have to say NYC eyeshadows and lipsticks/lip glosses and their nailpolish are the best out of any of their other products.
